"AZ Foundations solution did a great job repairing our stem wall. We didn t end up needed as much work done as originally estimated, so our balance was adjusted. David who did the repair had excellent customer service and explained everything that he did. My only complaint is we paid our deposit in July and the work wasn t completed until October. They marked the bottom of my house with red dots about 2 inches in diameter showing where the work needed to be done. Other than that we were happy."

"The owner met me at the wholesaler to help select good tree specimens, then delivered and planted the trees in very hard soil without any difficulty. They had all necessary equipment on hand when they arrived, so the digging progressed smoothly and rapidly. The planting sites were properly prepared to receive the trees, and a water supply was established for each tree planted. Cracks in a flagstone patio were repaired by removing the existing stones, reshaping them as needed, and relaying them with new mortar colored using our choice of color. Two new sprinkler zones were added to an existing system. The area covered by the new zones was prepped for grass by adding a couple of inches of  topsoil. The topsoil they provided was of very nice color and texture and contained no rock. Much nicer than that provided by other companies we've used in the past. One small tree (8-inch trunk) was removed quickly without issues. The stump seemed to present no problem.
Several companies in the area can do the things detailed above. The difference with this company is the owner and the crew actually on the site doing the work. The owner is a working part of the crew, very personable, and is a good communicator. He's reliable, flexible, and makes sure the job progresses as expected. The crew is composed mostly of happy, polite young men and women eager to work, with older hands as well lending their experience to the team . They were all fun, and very easy to have around the house for a few days. Brad, the owner, watches for any additional previously existing trouble spots while they work and reports anything he sees that might need attention in the future. The prices are competitive, and they inspire confidence in their work.
But the real measure of a company is how do they handle things when something goes wrong. In our case everything went as planned, but after working with Brad I have confidence that if I called him with a problem it would be handled fairly, promptly, without a bunch  of stress, and to my satisfaction. That just seems to be how he wants to be known in his business. He says he loves Anngie's List and wants to be sure the reviews are good.
These guys are our landscape crew now. We will be using this company any time we have a project in the future. Several more are already planned as we can afford them. I look forward to working with them again. Now I have to find a doctor, dentist, and auto mechanic that are the equivalent of this company in their fields.

"We purchased a townhome in Flagstaff several months ago. The unit is situated on a small hill with a pine forest to the rear. There was a small patio in the rear yard. However, the soil was eroding down the hill into the valley below and the patio was cracking due to the unstable soil. I contacted Angelsun Landscaping and Michael inspected the problem and came up with a solution to stop the erosion and stabilize the rear yard with a retaining wall and extending our brick paver patio. JP, Michael's father suggested additional items and solutions. The work took just a little over a week. We were not at the property while the work was taking place. When we arrived to view the work...we were totally blown away by the improvements. They were better than expected. The new patio was magnificent!! In addition, an aluminum wrought iron style fence was added plus a planting area. All the work exceeded our expectations. JP and Michael are the consummate professionals and we would not hesitate to have them do any landscaping work we may have in the future."

"Balance Landscaping did an excellent job or renovating our patio, including demolition of old concrete and cracked stamped concrete. They laid pavers, installed lighting, fixed our irrigation system, added plants and installed a pergola. Our patio has gone from dingy and unpleasant to AMAZING. Matt is great to work with; he listens, has solutions and is professional."

"Move went fine but door in New home was damaged has never been fixed after numerous calls"

"I highly recommend JDS Improvements - for roofing or any other work. (I will be hiring him to do other work around my house later this year.) He removed the old roof and two skylights and replaced them. He coordinated with the HVAC company to remove and replace the roof air conditioner so I was without air conditioning for only a few hours, which, in Arizona is so needed in July! He repaired the inside walls/ceiling that had to be trimmed to accommodate the new skylights. Extremely professional, IMPECCABLE INTEGRITY, responsive, listened and answered all of my many many questions, and accommodated my special needs. His crews are very respectful and after the work was done they cleaned up all areas - inside and outside. When they had to work inside, they put paper on the floors to walk on, paper on the counters, and then put plastic around the skylight opening when they repaired that area. They cared for and respected my house as if it was theirs and left it clean with no trace they were even there. Nothing was too small - the attention to the details was welcoming. Having lived in Sedona for 10 years I have finally found a contractor who does what he says he is going to do, shows up when he says he is going to show up, and not only walks you through the process but also talks to you about possible complications/issues and offers multiple solutions. QUALITY WORK AT GOOD RATES. I know I will never hire any other contractor for any home project I have in the future!! I know that I will never have to worry that the job was done right - the first time!!!"

"A -PAC was not too eager to do the job. They never called back after I discussed my chimney problem with Bob. Another company did the repair and did a wonderful job using 4 helical piers stabilizing and jacking the chimney up to it's original position. I would strongly recommend that you include this company in your list of foundation contractors."
