"This is an update to the review below: I was contacted by AFS Chattanooga after writing this review. They were very understanding of our concerns and we came to an agreement that satisfied both of us. My only other comment is that you need to understand that they do not do cosmetic repairs and they will do the best they can to get the problem solved. We contracted with AFS Chattanooga to level part of our driveway and the steps outside of our garage. We are not happy with the final product. The salesman told us they would be able to do what we requested. We also had them seal the cracks in the driveway. At the time, we asked if they could make it blend in with the driveway. We were told they could not match it, but gave us the impression that it would blend and not be too noticeable. They came to do the work on September 11, 2024. They were unable to get the garage step leveled. I was told by Paris the foreman, they do not guarantee that they will be able to make it level, but they would only try. Not the answer I was expecting. If he thought it was not going to work, he never should have attempted to lift it. I now have a broken door sill that needs to be replaced.  The driveway was done, as best they could ;. It looks much better from the leveling perspective. However, the sealant they put down is not even close to blending. It is gray and our driveway has a pebble stone finish which is more brown.  I said that it was not acceptable, and Paris told me that AFS does not do cosmetic work. Not what I wanted to hear after the salesman said they would do the best they could and gave us the impression it may not match perfectly but would be close and blend.. Now my driveway looks terrible with gray stripes where the cracks were filled. This was not an inexpensive project and we are woefully disappointed. We lodged our concern immediately on September  12, 2024, with the company and was told, that it was just the way it is. We were told that our complaint would be brought up with management and we have heard nothing since. It has been one week to the day since the work was done. We want our money refunded for the back step since they accomplished nothing more than breaking the sill and would like some restitution for the mess with the sealant."

"The man who did my foundation repair (removed rotted timber from under front door and installed new rot proof wood, then added concrete facing) was competent and friendly. He insured that the job was long lasting and secure. The front porch had sunken over time. His concrete facing was installed in such a way that future leveling of the porch will be difficult."

"I needed to have the crawlspace in my old home encapsulated, 58 Foundations really fit the bill! They were middle of the road in terms of the estimates I got, not the highest and not the cheapest. The combination of their warranty, materials used, and process are what sold me. The team that did all of the work, including insulating the block wall (which has already made a large difference) were very polite and professional. Zeke, Tanner, and Hunter communicated about the process, when different parts would be done and when we could expect them on day two. Overall we are very happy with the results. The crawlspace is warmer, the air is cleaner, and most importantly it is finally nice and dry!"

I started off in a skid steer at young age with my family owning an excavation business and became very interested at a young age. I’ve been in excavation full time since I was 15 years old working at 2 grading company’s one residential and the other commercial to better my knowledge for whatever the job throws at my crew and I.

"I can’t say enough good things about SMK Plumbing, especially Brandon and Zack! They were truly a godsend when we needed plumbing help. From the moment they arrived, they were professional, knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely cared about helping us. They went above and beyond to get the job done right, and we couldn’t have asked for better service. They were aware of our situation and handled it with such compassion and generosity. We are beyond grateful for their hard work, honesty, and kindness. SMK Plumbing is definitely a company you can trust, and Brandon and Zack are two people who truly deserve to be recognized for the way they treat their customers. We would absolutely recommend SMK plumbing to anyone."

"Yes the problem was fixed. I am pleased with the service."

"From the beginning, Shane was responsive and honest. The quote given was thorough and covered every detail of the expected work. Of course we encountered the unexpected and ended up with essentially a new foundation, but through every step, we were shown the issues and options were discussed so we could make an informed decision. The crew we had (Oscar, Sebastian, and Malardo) were excellent and went above and beyond what was needed to repair the foundation, identify current and potential issues (even outside of the foundation work), and ensure everything was done correctly and to our satisfaction. They even adjusted the cat door opening when they rehung our door! If you are looking to have honest, quality work done at a fair price, look no further, this is your company!"

"We used Blalock Waterproofing for our crawl space encapsulation. We got estimates from other companies, and there was no hesitation on choosing Blalock. We felt that Blalock was by far the best choice. We are extremely happy with our encapsulation. A lot of hard work and care was put into every aspect of the encapsulation. They are very professional, however very nice and happy to answer any questions we had. The cost was very reasonable compared to others, as well. We feel fortunate we came across Blalock Waterproofing, and highly recommend them."
