We were convinced we needed repaid, but Derek indicated this was natural settling and not something in need of immediate repair. He gave us tips for watching the cracks to see if another inspection would be needed later. We wanted to pay for his time, but he insisted there was no charge. He could have easily recommended repairs given our concern, so we truly appreciated his honesty and suggestions.
