"My toiled was leaking from the connection between the tank and the bowl. I got an estimate from a large local plumber for $1100 to replace the toilet. Without even looking into the problem this guy said the toilet was so old that he was sure the flange was cracked and was too expensive to repair. I showed him to the door immediately.
