"What a positive experience this was!  Arid is a family owned business, and they've been waterproofing basement for over 40
years.  I'd gotten estimates from some larger and smaller companies, but I'm a guy with a lot of questions and the 'Arid Family,"
Pat, Mike, Beverly and Kara answered all of them, making a good first impression.  Their price was right in the middle and seemed fair for the work that was done, which involved excavating a trench around my basement's walls, laying perforated PVC
pipe, liners, gravel, re-cementing and installing a sump pump. Seven men arrived and did the job from start to finish in six hours.
They were courteous and professional, took all debris away and swept clean.  Mike, the job foreman, was a real gentleman and addresed any concerns I had.
Pat, the owner and his cousin, came by on three separate occasions to do walk throughs and make sure everything was prepped properly berfore their crew showed up. Unfortunately, I had a finished basement which was getting water through the foundation, making life pretty miserable, these past few years.  So I had to 'unfinish' it so Arid could do their job.  They walked me through the process and made sure the demo work was done correctly.
I'm looking foreword to 'life without water', at least in the basement and would highly recommend Arid if you're having similar
problems.
By the way, if you ask for recommendations they'll show you a book with hundreds of them!

"I live in Eltingville, Staten Island, and my old concrete step had started deteriorating badly. There were cracks in several areas and the surface was really beginning to show its age, but I honestly didn?t want to spend the money replacing the entire step if it could be properly repaired. I called TriStone Masonry & Restoration and Dominic came out and gave me a completely free estimate. The price was extremely reasonable, so I decided to go ahead with the repair, and I?m very glad I did. Dominic and the team repaired the damaged and cracked sections using reinforced concrete and then completely stuccoed and refinished the step. The transformation was unbelievable. It genuinely looks like a brand-new step today without me having to pay for a complete replacement. Excellent workmanship, very fair pricing, and genuinely trustworthy guys. I couldn?t recommend Dominic and the TriStone team highly enough. If you need step or concrete repairs in Staten Island, definitely give these guys"

They Truly exceeded my expectation. Steve is extremely customer focused and ensures that his customers have a good understanding of why certain thing need to be done and what they are going to do. The entire process was incredibly smooth, Steve was very detailed in explaining step by step what was happening, he constantly and consistently checked-in to ensure all work passed his quality check. I was impressed by the install, from the scrub down and sanitizing they gave the basement, to the quality of their materials, the additional drain by the door they provided at no extra charge, and last but not least a draining area for the dehumidifier which saves me the twice daily trip down to the basement. I looked at a few waterproofing companies, and am glad I choose Blue Umbrella Waterproofing. They were reliable, efficient, had high-quality standard, and lastly upfront and honest. I would recommend them for any waterproofing needs."

"Pro Rise Construction LLC transformed our old cracked driveway into a beautiful and durable paved surface that instantly improved our curb appeal. The crew also repaired our front steps and added bluestone details that gave the home a luxury appearance. Vinny and Nitin stayed involved during the entire project and made sure every concern was handled properly."

"Problems were found and were fixed"

"I can't say enough good things about American A-1 Waterproofing. Roland and his team were amazing. I had originally opted to go with another contractor to install a French drain and sump pump, but after exposing the foundation, they got spooked and said they wouldn't perform the work. Roland came by and assured me his team could get the work done and they did not disappoint. Through the initial estimate, permitting, construction and final sign off, Roland and his team were communicative, prompt, clean, and extremely professional. It was an absolute pleasure to work with them!"
