"Heinz provided us with a detailed, scaled, drawing of his plan for the project. After listening to our ideas he redrew the bench; we agreed on the style and he built what we wanted."

"I had been experiencing uneven heating and cooling and high electrical bills for many years. My unit was also almost 20 yrs old and not working very well anymore. I did my homework and decided I wanted a Trane. I contacted several companies for estimates. Air Network as the only company who contacted me in the time frame promised as well as coming out to see what my needs really were. It turned out my duct work was done improperly by the previous owner resulting in my uneven cooling. Air Network answered all my questions honestly and gave me several bids on different brands and sizes before the day was done. I still insisted on the Trane which by brand names is not the least expensive but was still at a very good price. His crew showed up on time during a day where it rained all day. They put mats on my floors and began dismantling my system. Chris the owner drove 2 hours to north Austin to pick up the unit I requested since there were no local Trane outlets and then 2 hours back to Hallettsville. They worked so efficiently I actually fell asleep in my recliner while they worked. By the end of the day I was more comfortable in my home than at anytime since I bought it. His crew were neat and courteous and left my home cleaner than when they arrived. I was so impressed by Air Networks that I will not allow any other company to service my system in the future. There were no extra or hidden costs. The job was done for exactly what the estimate was. I HIGHLY recommend Air Network. This is the first 5 star rating I've ever given a business, but Air Network truly deserves it."

"I've been in the process of building what I consider to be the shop of my dreams for a few years now, and I reached the point where I needed a professional to help me design and install an electrical system to provide 115V and 220V service from the power pole, some 60 linear feet away, to the entire building. This included the main panel, all overhead lighting, under cabinet lighting, all wiring and switches, outlets necessary to supply my shop equipment and tools, and to provide me with heat and A/C. In addition, some exterior outlets were necessary to provide power to my carport and hook-ups for an RV. (I wasn't asking for much, Huh?!) After doing my homework, I called Jon Wayne. Jon Wayne's very impressive customer service representatives made an appointment for me expeditiously, and a short time later a young professional named Joshua R. [Consumer name withheld at their request] arrived at my door. Mr. R. [Consumer name withheld at their request] patiently allowed me to guide him through my vision for the shop, taking copious notes. I completed my lengthy and probably slightly whimsical explanations of how I thought I wanted my shop set up, and he actually took the time to go back over each line item in detail with me. He asked quite a few questions, and ensured that he fully understood exactly what I wanted to accomplish. He then drew out detailed diagrams and noted everything that would be required to complete each specific line item for me, giving me valuable input and making much appreciated suggestions for improvements in my plan along the way. When he was satisfied that I was absolutely satisfied, we sat down and he worked up a quote. At this point I was anticipating having heart failure, thinking that the cost would be somewhat inflated and he would ask that I pay some exotic and exorbitant prices for his services. I had done my homework well, and I was floored that his quote was within one hundred dollars of what I had determined that I should have to pay. That was surprising! Wow! Mr. R. [Consumer name withheld at their request] worked hand in hand with Jon Wayne's A/C folks to ensure that appropriate requirements for A/C and Heat were included in the overall project, and he worked exceptionally well with me throughout the entire process. I got the distinct impression that this was a collaborative effort that he seriously had a vested interest in, and not just another day's work. He presented me with ready solutions to issues that I ran into in accomplishing the project, including completely re-designing the power supply to the building from underground to overhead due to substantial rock preventing me from having a trench dug at a reasonable cost. I believe that the extreme courtesy, obvious caring, and passion for my project displayed by Mr. R. [Consumer name withheld at their request] and the entire Jon Wayne Team represents true professionalism at its highest level. I'm surely glad that I made that phone ca"

"I was looking for a Septic Pumping Service and Legend Plumbing was coming through our area the same day and was able to get into our property and clean out our septic system since it had been 2 years and 11 months since we had our system cleaned out. The cost was reasonable and they were in and out in about 45 min to 60 min since our septic system lids are exposed and easy to access. Thank you for the excellent service."

"Computer did the "gotta send info to Microsoft" but when tried to reboot it ran through automatic repair without success. I did all the alternative without any success. He came and picked up the hard drive on Tuesday and returned it on Saturday. Fortunately he was able to "restore" without any data loss. Very happy with outcome."

FAQs for furnace / forced air heating system install or replace projects in Beeville, TX

Converting from an oil furnace to an electric furnace isn't a simple swap—the oil system needs to be completely removed before installing the electric furnace. You'll need a full electric system installation, but you might be able to reuse existing ductwork if it's up to current safety standards. You’ll need to budget for a new electric furnace installation, which costs between $1,800 and $6,200, including professional removal, proper disposal, and safe installation of the new system.

Electric furnaces are 100% efficient at converting electricity into heat. However, some of that heat can be lost as it travels through your home's ductwork or escapes through poorly insulated areas. That's why regular duct maintenance and proper home insulation are important to maximize your furnace's efficiency and reduce heat loss, ensuring consistent warmth and lower energy costs.

With proper maintenance, an electric furnace can last anywhere from 20 to 30 years, outlasting the average gas furnace's lifespan of 15 to 20 years. To keep your electric furnace running efficiently, schedule regular cleanings, tighten connections, and have inspections done before winter arrives. With routine maintenance, you’ll ensure consistent, safe heating for years to come.

The size of the electric furnace you need depends on factors like your home's square footage, climate, and insulation quality. As a general guideline, those who live in warmer climates should multiply their square footage by 30 to 35 BTUs, while those in cooler areas should multiply it by 50 to 60 BTUs.

Consulting with an HVAC professional can help you determine the exact size that's right for your home.

An electric furnace works by converting electricity into heat using high-resistance heating elements. A blower then pushes the warm air through your home's ductwork, distributing heat evenly throughout your space. Since there's no combustion involved, electric furnaces eliminate the risks associated with gas furnaces and provide consistent, reliable heating when properly installed.

An electric furnace uses between 40 and 80 kilowatts per day to heat your home. The exact amount it uses depends on factors like your home's size, insulation, and overall energy requirements. Larger homes or those with poor insulation use more energy than smaller, well-insulated spaces. A professional furnace assessment can help confirm the ideal unit size for your needs.
