"h +Seth was great. He installed the receiver (which we needed and purchased from him @ an additional cost) and hooked up our in home audio system which went through our house and outside patio. He encountered a glitch when there was evidently a problem with the wiring. He did some trouble shooting and found it was a crossed wire from the last home owner/builder. He was friendly, polite and professional. He did not try to push additional charges on us, only what we needed and wanted. We give him an A+!

"We had many issues with our computer - primarily with the CD/DVD drive and iTunes. Jim eliminated over 700 viruses from our computer, which was just the beginning. There continued to be problems within the systems of the computer. Luckily Jim charges by the job and not by the hour because he worked a LONG time to make it all work.  He kept in touch with me and addressed each issue as it arose until the job was done.  He was professional and courteous and hung in there until I was satisfied he had addressed everything. "I just DIY installed my brand new ComfortStar 12,000 BTU 20 Seer 2 last night in my car garage. The installation went well and the mini split was impressive in quietly & quickly cooling a 2 car garage. The next morning the cool from the AC got warm. There was a leak throughout the night and by the afternoon when no cool air was given. I starting looking online to find R410A frigerant to pickup near me. I found out that R410a is to be discontinued with the exception of ordering online…with delivery time & no immediate replacement. I reached a few local HVAC techs but appointments were a day or two later. Adrian Cooling & Heating LLC’s & Arlet answered my distress call. A few hours was all it took with a friendly & knowledgeable tech to diagnose, refill refrigerant(2lbs) & checked to make sure no leaks. Bravo, an amazing rescue and my much needed work to be done in my cooled garage is very appreciated. I have all good praises from the reassuring phone convo w/Arlet & Adrian Cooling & Heating’s competent tech! I will only consider them if in need. Absolutely high regards & recommendations with my entire experience and shockingly fair in service fees. My Pop’s assumed “Emergency” fees would double or triple…refrigerant fee was the only invoiced!!! Thank you so much! Rouel"

"We called Keys Mechanical to look at our central unit which was making sick noises and obviously struggling to cool our home.  We called them based solely on the Angie's List reviews.  As anyone who has lived in the Keys for any length of time knows, just getting someone to actually show up is a feat in itself let alone someone who is competent to do the job they claim they know how to do.  My husband called, set up a time for someone to come look at the unit and then we waited to see what would happen.  Low and behold an actual AC guy showed up, a little late but he did call ahead to let us know he was running behind.  In our experience, this in itself was remarkable.  It is not unusual for contractors/workers to show up late - after all everyone is on Key West time - but it is usually that they show up as much as 2-3 hours late without the courtesy of a call, explanation or God forbid an apology.  Oftentimes they just don't bother to show up at all.  We often wonder how they keep their businesses going without doing any work.  Anyway, they showed up, performed a diagnostic, gave us the bad but not unexpected news and then proceeded to put a "bandaid" on the unit to bridge the time between getting a new unit.  Gave us an estimate, told us the cost of the day would be erased if we purchased our new unit from them.  We did check out one more source of a new central ac unit; the differance in price was amazing.  In the meantime the "bandaid" while not perfect is certainly keeping us comfortable enough to sleep at night.  We will be purchsing our new unit from them; at that time will probably write another glowing review.

"Called Mr. Yanes due to above normal humidity in the house when running the A/C.  Originally thought moisture exiting from vents was due water collecting in the air handler pan.  Mr. Yanes confirmed that the pan was draining properly and it was clean.
This gentleman (and he truly is) was always prompt since he came to the house on more than one occasion and worked diligently to identify and resolve air leaks that were pulling hot humid air through crevices in the metal ductwork and vent gaps, and into the house.
 Very satisfied with his work.

"We had recently purchased a high-rise condo and found that the windows shook, rattled, and howled unrelentingly.  Our multiple patio sliders stuck, squeaked, and made very loud grinding noises as we attempted to open/close them; some barely moved.  We were appalled at the constant noise and feared having to replace everything - something we were not anticipating when we purchased the condo.
After a lot of internet research on causes and solutions for the noise etc, we researched vendors and came up with a list of 3 local vendors.  One gave us an absurdly high quote without even coming out;  one shook his head during the walk-through of the condo and said that nothing he could do would probably help; and the last one - Ben from Smooth Sliders - provided an "analysis" of each window/slider. Because of his understanding of the causes & solutions, I knew he would be my choice for the job.
We scheduled the work for the same week and he completed it all in one day. After which we again walked through the condo and he explained what he had done for each slider/window, showing the improvement in the way the windows/sliders worked....... and we noticed immediately that the constant howling of the wind was gone! 
Ben and his crew were polite, professional, adhered to all the condo rules, and worked efficiently.
We were so pleased, we scheduled replacement of several screens for a later date.
