"Don was excellent. He performed a very thorough inspection of my system and clearly explained all his findings. My furnace is 20 years old, and despite finding many smaller issues he was not pushy about replacing the entire thing. He just gave an honest assessment of the condition. Don correctly found the issue with the blower (bad controller board) and fixed the cause of the failure (plugged drain pipe, causing water damage). After replacing the board the furnace is back up and running. I'll be giving them a call when it is time to replace the furnace."

"Very professional. They did an annual service check on my furnace. While doing so, they found that my filter was wrong and could have caused major damage to the furnace. They were able to find me the correct filter in a timely manner. I'll be calling them whenever something is wrong or I need another furnace cleaning/check."

"They were very professional and prompt when installing new furnace in the middle of winter. Dean listens to the customer and discusses all options. We called a year later to install AC on furnace and he remembered us and our furnace . Dean is very personable and professional."

"He figured out the issue with our air conditioner quickly and fixed it easily. Took 10 days to get onto the schedule (but it was peak hot season)."

"They showed up on time and gave me a quote for furnace and a/c replacement of an over 20 yr old system. This was on a Friday and Mon was Labor day so work was scheduled for Tue between 9 and 9:30. They showed up at 9:15 and had everything completed by 5:00 that afternoon. Very satisfied with my new system. They answered all my questions and provided a year labor warranty on top of the mfg parts warranty. They also provided a 4 year tune up spring and fall at no extra charge. Total cost $12,500."

"Steven & Sons went over and beyond to get a new furnace installed so we would not be without heat. Working overtime to complete a complex install was impressive. Not only that they charged me LESS than the original quote. Please consider them for your heating/cooling needs."

"Great experience with seasonal maintenance check. They arrived early in appointment window, checked furnace, humidifier, & air conditioning, explained everything clearly. They replaced a filter, examined every part of air conditioning system, made some recommendations, had easy payment system. I will look forward to using them again!"

"Louis fixed my furnace when no one else would. Every company that came out tried to sell me a new furnace. Louis was the only one who tried to help me. Heâ s awesome and when Iâ m ready to replace the system, heâ s the only hvac company Iâ m calling."

"Habib is seriously the most thorough professional we have ever had! He expertly explained the new AC/furnace system to us so we knew precisely how the system worked, before he installed anything. He was so considerate and enthusiastic and he loves helping his customers. Our A/C unit worked so well and I know our brand new furnace will be great this winter. If I could give him 10 stars I would because he was so knowledgeable and conscientious!"

"So far as I can tell, the quality of the products and the quality of their installation was fine. The furnace includes PVC pipe venting both to bring combusting air into the furnace from the outdoors and taking exhaust gases outdoors through another PVC pipe through a concentric vent in the outside wall. This process is designed to prevent any exhaust gases in the basement or any bad negative air pressure in the basement. The furnace is an energy star with 95 percent efficiency. The only negative aspect of all this was Controlling Systems' behavior relating to scheduling as described in the section above."
