"My overall experience with Porterhouse Heating & Cooling was very good. I called and requested same-day service due to a gas leak. Porterhouse Heating & Cooling came out that day, replaced the shut-off ball valve, and tested the system after the repair was complete. Also Porterhouse Heating & Cooling ensured the tankless water heater was operable since gas to the house had been shut-off due to the gas leak. Additionally, I had them to conduct my annual preventative maintenance on both furnaces. This was my third (3rd) time using Porterhouse Heating & Cooling. I find them to be responsive, knowledgeable, and customer-focused."

"Sal was a very nice guy and explained everything he was looking at and doing in detail, this w as during a very cold spell and we weren't able to heat the house efficiently much higher than 60 degrees F, They came out right away and was on time and i spent way less money than i anticipated, definitely would hire them again and highly recommend them. "On Friday, Oct. 2, 2020, three young men came to install my new electric heating/cooling system. (Lennox Air Handler CBA25UH-036 and Lennox 13ACXN-036) They called before they came and came on time, as well. They were friendly and polite and were very respectful of my property and put down floor coverings over my carpeting. They all wore shoe coverings and masks (due to Covid-19). One man worked out on my deck installing the air conditioner, and mainly one other young man worked on installing the furnace with the assistance of one of the men at times. It seemed like one of the three men was in training. Due to the fact that the new furnace was rather large for the small closet area where it needed to fit in to, the young man who was mainly installing the furnace was able to overcome the challenges that he faced with the help of one of the other men and he was able to fit it in. Thankfully they did not need to drill any extra holes into the ceiling or walls to install the furnace and I was very thankful for that! They were there for at least eight hours. I was hoping that I would finally have heat that day, but I was told that the heat exchange part was cracked and they would have to send someone else out to install the new part. Before leaving, they cleaned up everything and did not leave anything at all behind for me to deal with. They also ran the air conditioner for quite some time to make sure that it was working properly, which I was thankful for because it's very important for technicians to make sure that each job is done properly before moving on to the next one. Since the job was not yet completed I only paid a little over half of the price that was due to be paid and would pay the remaining amount when the job was completely done. A woman from Four Seasons Customer Service called me later that day letting me know that someone could come that night between 9p.m. and midnight, but I chose to wait until the next day for someone to come out to install the part. She was very pleasant and helpful. On Saturday, October 3, 2020, technician, Santino M. called to let me know that he would arrive at my home soon to install the part. He was also very respectful of my home and wore shoe coverings (as well as a mask). He was very friendly, kind, and caring and did an excellent job of installing the new part. He carefully read the instructions and checked and rechecked all the wiring to make sure that everything was installed properly. It was a blessing to finally have heat! He made sure that my furnace was working well for me before he left and he also gave me helpful tips, providing me with some information that I needed to make sure that my system would work well for me for many years to come. He provided excellent customer service to me, as well, going above and beyond normal good customer service by taking a few extra minutes and leading me step by step in applying for my Lennox warranty online before he left. I would definitely give Santino M. a five plus star rating on his installation and for his kindness and excellent customer service! Thank you so much, Santino! As a whole I was very satisfied with the service that I received from Four Seasons Heating And Air Conditioning in Chicago. Although I was very concerned at first after reading some of the reviews regarding what some customers experienced dealing with other Four Seasons Heating And Air Conditioning companies in other areas, so far I have found this Chicago based company to be very caring about their customers and they seem to do their very best to provide fair and affordable prices for their customers and very good customer service. I did sign up for the extended 12 year warranty, so if I do have any issues in the future with this company I will update this review to express any concerns that I may have."

"From the moment I picked up the phone and talked to Nora and Tracy to discuss their services, through Caesar and Manny leaving our home after giving our ducts and vents a much needed cleaning, Mr. Duct was an absolute to work with!  After having our wood floors refinished, it was important to have our vents thoroughly cleaned from the saw dust.  Not to mention, the HVAC system is 12 years old and could've used a cleaning anyway.  Everyone I spoke to or met with in person were polite, courteous, punctual and professional!  They came to me highly recommended and left with their reputation unblemished.

"The boiler had needed some replacement pipes as well as the solution to the slight smell of gas when near the boiler itself. Prior to calling for service for these issues, I had removed the majority of the damaged piping and purchased all new of what I was able to remove. I couldn't remove the bushing that attaches directly to the boiler or the nipple that attached to that bushing to save my life. On the night prior to the day of my appointment, there was a snow storm and time moved ahead. I had forgotten to move my clocks ahead that resulted in my arriving about 20 minutes late. The repairman was kind enough to not only wait for my arrival, but to shovel part of the snow from my walkway that leads to the basement. This guy is just great. He removed the fused together bushing and nipple in no time flat. It was amazing for me to watch. I had to pick up a couple more pieces of pipe for my job to be completed and we scheduled to continue after I did so. Luckily, The pipe I needed was in stock and he was able to return the very next day, he removed my bushing and nipple, installed ALL of my pipes, and provided and replaced my leaking gas line. MY BUILDING NOW HAS HEAT AND I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER!!! Now I have to have the other parts of the building repaired that were damaged from when the boiler had stopped working and a pipe had burst. You won't be disappointed if you hire Discovery Heating and Cooling. If I have another related job in the future, I will definitely call Discovery. Thanks again Discovery."
