Customers say: Quality work

"Power Technics did a good job of installing TV on stone fireplace. They had a bit of a challenge with the anchors, but were able to resolve it and complete the job. They were considerate to call when running behind schedule and were very professional & pleasant to work with. I would use their services again."

"Our dryer went out due to overheating of the element. Contacted our appliance repair and they told us it was due to the dryer vent being clogged and preventing heat to go out.  I emailed Sharon on Monday evening, not expecting a response until morning however, she called almost 5 minutes after I hit send on the email.
Sharon told me should could be out at 9 on Wednesday and complete the job.  At 855 she pulled up in the driveway, unloaded here equipment and within the hour (at the most) she was done, cleaned up, and gone.  A very professional individual and will call her annually now to get this done.  I have also provided her name and number to several friends.
Thank you Sharon!

"The technician, Jesse, permitted a flexible schedule to provide an initial inspection and arrived within the time frame agreed upon. He thoroughly and with great professionalism and patience, with all of my questions, explained the entire procedure and cost-effective options. During the entire process he again explained the steps insuring I understood the work he was doing was necessary and beneficial to my homes ventilation system, as well as insuring a allergen-free environment. I felt very confident in every step of the process and even more so a week after the cleaning had been completed. I found that in that week the heating system was warming my home at a more efficient rate. Additionally, I found that my furniture had less dust on them as the ventilation system was not recirculating allergens and dust throughout the home. I highly recommend, Jesse and Tru Clean, to everyone considering having their ventilation system cleaned, maintained and monitored for allergens and functioning efficiently."

"We own a home-based business which relies heavily on our computers operating efficiently. We have had a service contract with another computer repair business for several years. Recently when we were having problems with our computers, we tried contacting our service contractor multiple times. He never responded. Feeling frustrated, I contacted James at North Alabama Technical Services and explained our situation. He instantly came to our rescue. He "cleaned-up" our computers and took care of all the problems we were experiencing. He went above and beyond to help us in our dire time of need. We would strongly recommend James and his company for computer service needs. We have now retained him on a service contract and are looking forward to working with him in the future."

"Beyond amazing!!! When my house was built 5 years ago, the thermostats were placed literally on top of each other causing one thermostat to read off the other resulting in uneven cooling throughout the entire house. Called Aireserv of Desoto County! The professional service from the techs and the completion of the job I needed done was IMPECCABLE. I received a courtesy phone call to remind me of the appointment, the tech called to say he was on his way, both techs introduced themselves with smiles, surveyed what needed to be done, completed the job, AND gave me helpful tips on saving money on the utility bill. There is no doubt that this company hires more than just a tech that can service/install H&C. THANK YOU for coming to my rescue! Last night was the first night I did not freeze out the kids in their room and me sweat to death in mine!! My house is now evenly cooling!!! Airserv of DC has a permanent spot in my contacts for everything that has to do with my heating and cooling systems!!!"

"The job was performed by Mr. Gavin and one helper, they were very clean in their work and was willing to do what ever it took to satisfy the principal. The helper was a smoker and spend a lot of time in the bathroom (where wall paper was removed) with the door closed. I later found out he had been in the bathroom secretly smoking in my smoke free home. When this was discovered and Mr. Gavin was approached he denied that his worker had been smoking in the house, however when provided evidence of the smoking he responded very casually as though he could not understand why this was upsetting to me."

FAQs for furnace / forced air heating system install or replace projects in Earle, AR

Converting from an oil furnace to an electric furnace isn't a simple swap—the oil system needs to be completely removed before installing the electric furnace. You'll need a full electric system installation, but you might be able to reuse existing ductwork if it's up to current safety standards. You’ll need to budget for a new electric furnace installation, which costs between $1,800 and $6,200, including professional removal, proper disposal, and safe installation of the new system.

Electric furnaces are 100% efficient at converting electricity into heat. However, some of that heat can be lost as it travels through your home's ductwork or escapes through poorly insulated areas. That's why regular duct maintenance and proper home insulation are important to maximize your furnace's efficiency and reduce heat loss, ensuring consistent warmth and lower energy costs.

With proper maintenance, an electric furnace can last anywhere from 20 to 30 years, outlasting the average gas furnace's lifespan of 15 to 20 years. To keep your electric furnace running efficiently, schedule regular cleanings, tighten connections, and have inspections done before winter arrives. With routine maintenance, you’ll ensure consistent, safe heating for years to come.

The size of the electric furnace you need depends on factors like your home's square footage, climate, and insulation quality. As a general guideline, those who live in warmer climates should multiply their square footage by 30 to 35 BTUs, while those in cooler areas should multiply it by 50 to 60 BTUs.

Consulting with an HVAC professional can help you determine the exact size that's right for your home.

An electric furnace works by converting electricity into heat using high-resistance heating elements. A blower then pushes the warm air through your home's ductwork, distributing heat evenly throughout your space. Since there's no combustion involved, electric furnaces eliminate the risks associated with gas furnaces and provide consistent, reliable heating when properly installed.

An electric furnace uses between 40 and 80 kilowatts per day to heat your home. The exact amount it uses depends on factors like your home's size, insulation, and overall energy requirements. Larger homes or those with poor insulation use more energy than smaller, well-insulated spaces. A professional furnace assessment can help confirm the ideal unit size for your needs.
