"Very well. Sharon was prompt, very professional and went over everything in detail. She pointed out areas that needed work (insulation falling off, etc) that should have been noticed and handled by my regular furnace and guys. I had to delay getting the work done so I havent used them yet but plan to next month.

"We had many issues with our computer - primarily with the CD/DVD drive and iTunes. Jim eliminated over 700 viruses from our computer, which was just the beginning. There continued to be problems within the systems of the computer. Luckily Jim charges by the job and not by the hour because he worked a LONG time to make it all work. He kept in touch with me and addressed each issue as it arose until the job was done. He was professional and courteous and hung in there until I was satisfied he had addressed everything. I would highly recommend Jim and will definitely use his services in the future, as needed.

\n\n\n\n Langhorn HVAC-R & Maintenance is a Central Heat and Air Installation Service Provider for residential and commercial installs. We work as a team that consist of Licensed General Contractors, various other contractors and subcontractors to install your units. Langhorn assumes all associated responsibilities to assure a code enforced safe installment for your project. \n With your complete installation, we provide preventative maintenance services at a nominal fee to insure that your system has the longest life span possible. You are allowed to become a life time member whenever we install your system at a discount rate if you opt in for our program. Units come with a 5 to 10 year warranty on all major parts of your system backed by our equipment supplier. Langhorn provides the labor on all warranted parts. You will receive a list of those parts upon installation. \n The life span of our systems such as Goodman, Trane, Lennox and Carrier carry life spans of up to 25 years. You have the choice of hard or flex duct. Humidifiers, emergency overflow drainage and other safety devices are also available such as smoke detection disconnects, along with low and high pressure cut off switches. Pressure switches save the life span of your compressor. Emergency water overflow disconnects that will immediately turn off your system if necessary preserves the life of the housing structure itself that stabilize your unit: walls, ceiling, framing, sheet rock etc. We guarantee your satisfaction and we don’t consider a job complete until the job is done correct. We pride ourselves on the quality work we provide, while delivering great customer service! We provide one of the greatest services offered and our system installations operate at the maximum rate of quality. There’s nothing like a system that operates well that also has a duct system that spreads a balanced amount of air circulation for top comfort control. Call or email us to schedule a free estimate today. \nFeel free to verify if our schedule will permit us to trouble shoot your system failures if your system is no older than 10 to 15 years. Depending on the condition of older systems we may recommend that you upgrade your system due to the fact that once you add newer parts to older systems, other problems arise more often that leads to you ( as the client ) spending unnecessary money that could be spent in a more fruitful way. Consider taking advantage of the credit program available through Angi’s and have your system installation financed at an economical rate to reserve purchasing power for other emergencies that may arise in your household if totally necessary. Thanks for considering Langhorn for your HVAC needs. We look forward to providing you with class A service great enough to brag about. \nCEO: Gregory Langhorn Jr\n\n\n\n

"Beyond amazing!!! When my house was built 5 years ago, the thermostats were placed literally on top of each other causing one thermostat to read off the other resulting in uneven cooling throughout the entire house. Called Aireserv of Desoto County! The professional service from the techs and the completion of the job I needed done was IMPECCABLE. I received a courtesy phone call to remind me of the appointment, the tech called to say he was on his way, both techs introduced themselves with smiles, surveyed what needed to be done, completed the job, AND gave me helpful tips on saving money on the utility bill. There is no doubt that this company hires more than just a tech that can service/install H&C. THANK YOU for coming to my rescue! Last night was the first night I did not freeze out the kids in their room and me sweat to death in mine!! My house is now evenly cooling!!! Airserv of DC has a permanent spot in my contacts for everything that has to do with my heating and cooling systems!!!"

"The Technician seem to know his job and seems very experienced in it. He explained why the furnace was not allowing heat to through. There was a part that had to be checked every few years and cleaned. And he did it put the back inside the furnace and the heat started."
Converting from an oil furnace to an electric furnace isn't a simple swap—the oil system needs to be completely removed before installing the electric furnace. You'll need a full electric system installation, but you might be able to reuse existing ductwork if it's up to current safety standards. You’ll need to budget for a new electric furnace installation, which costs between $1,800 and $6,200, including professional removal, proper disposal, and safe installation of the new system.
Electric furnaces are 100% efficient at converting electricity into heat. However, some of that heat can be lost as it travels through your home's ductwork or escapes through poorly insulated areas. That's why regular duct maintenance and proper home insulation are important to maximize your furnace's efficiency and reduce heat loss, ensuring consistent warmth and lower energy costs.
With proper maintenance, an electric furnace can last anywhere from 20 to 30 years, outlasting the average gas furnace's lifespan of 15 to 20 years. To keep your electric furnace running efficiently, schedule regular cleanings, tighten connections, and have inspections done before winter arrives. With routine maintenance, you’ll ensure consistent, safe heating for years to come.
The size of the electric furnace you need depends on factors like your home's square footage, climate, and insulation quality. As a general guideline, those who live in warmer climates should multiply their square footage by 30 to 35 BTUs, while those in cooler areas should multiply it by 50 to 60 BTUs.
Consulting with an HVAC professional can help you determine the exact size that's right for your home.
An electric furnace works by converting electricity into heat using high-resistance heating elements. A blower then pushes the warm air through your home's ductwork, distributing heat evenly throughout your space. Since there's no combustion involved, electric furnaces eliminate the risks associated with gas furnaces and provide consistent, reliable heating when properly installed.
An electric furnace uses between 40 and 80 kilowatts per day to heat your home. The exact amount it uses depends on factors like your home's size, insulation, and overall energy requirements. Larger homes or those with poor insulation use more energy than smaller, well-insulated spaces. A professional furnace assessment can help confirm the ideal unit size for your needs.
