"We searched for a long time for a company to replace a current central A/C which was not particularly old, but the handler up in the attic was nearing the end of life so we had to replace the whole system. Speer seemed most knowledgeable, offered a product we were comfortable with (Amana) and were also professional and prompt. Of note we had a troublesome smart thermostat which required that they return multiple times to address - they did not consider the job done until this was fully operational. Overall we were very pleased, but the summer will tell!"

I called them again this morning because the overflow tank was leaking water--today is a Saturday after a snowstorm--and Dave and his crew came out a few hours later and repaired the entire thing. "It went great. It started off with a fix to a part that was broken on my old furnace. Tom came as scheduled and completed the repairs quickly. He reviewed the problem and the solutions as well as informed us that based on the age of the units he recommended replacement in the near future. The repairs he did gave us heat for a few days before the unit finally gave out. Justin then came to rescue us on a Sunday and reviewed the possible fix or replace options. We decided to replace and he reviewed all of our options. Once we settled on the price and date he left us with space heaters so we could make sure our 9 month old daughter was comfortable overnight. The date of the replacement Steve and John showed up on time and quickly got to work. (They had one other guy with them, but I don't recall his name.) The work was completed that day and Steve even set my thermostat according to our household schedule. They cleaned up the mess that they made installing the new units and made sure we completely understood everything about our new units before they left. I couldn't have been more satisfied with the service these guys provided. Prompt service, courteous and knowledgeable service specialist will keep me coming back!
