I am a jack of trades independent contractor/ handyman with 10+ years experience. I am not a licensed plumber, licensed electrician, or licensed roofer. "We were in the market for a complete system & researched several companies. A-1 was the only company to suggest a "Hybrid" system. ( Gas furnace with a heat pump) They explained how the "Hybrid" system worked & how it would affect our utility bills. We did some research on our own & found it to be the best type of system for the local weather conditions here in Champaign, IL..A-1 came in, took out the old system. They installed the new system, including a touch screen thermostat. A- 1 was on time, very professional & went above and beyond what we expected them to do. The old AC was kind of tilted on the ground and they broke the dirt down and completely leveled the ground before installing the new heat pump.
