"We searched for a long time for a company to replace a current central A/C which was not particularly old, but the handler up in the attic was nearing the end of life so we had to replace the whole system. Speer seemed most knowledgeable, offered a product we were comfortable with (Amana) and were also professional and prompt. Of note we had a troublesome smart thermostat which required that they return multiple times to address - they did not consider the job done until this was fully operational. Overall we were very pleased, but the summer will tell!"

When Bruce arrived to do the assessment, we spent time going over the heating needs in the house. After a thorough inspection and measurement of the house, we sat down. He showed me a few options, all of which were going to provide good service. I ordered a unit at the end of that meeting. The installation day was just terrific- the entire work crew that showed up were everything I would hope to find: Upbeat, informative, hard-working, focused. The job was finished before end of day as promised. The heater room is now immaculate, with new piping and a new heater. It was like watching a pit crew at a NASCAR race. Everyone had their tasks, they moved carefully but quickly. The materials were all laid out in order, etc. Just a totally professional approach to their work. The crew boss answered any questions I had. The follow-up for a normal inspection of the furnace chimney was scheduled the day after the installation. "They did a good job I had a tenant complain about the shower not being hot and the water heaters getting sandy, they changed the shower cartridge and didn't find anything to "fix" on the heater so I think they are pretty honest, small company not with alot of overhead to OVERCHARGE you. They do the work that's requested and don't make more up."

There was also an explanation of why I needed a chimney liner. We signed the contract and work was started almost immediately. My furnace was over 50 years old and in poor shape. The job site was prepared and all the old components were removed leaving the site as clean or cleaner than when they started.
