"Was having problems with my HVAC / heat pump. I didn't want to call the emergency number on a Sunday, but I saw I could schedule service online. I picked a date and time and received e-mail and text confirmation. Tech arrived on time and found multiple issues. It was a 17-year system, which they have worked on in the past. They have always been on time and updated me on their arrival time. We went over the options to keep the system running (repairs and parts), but ultimately decided it would be better to replace it with a new and more efficient unit. Keri, in the office, provided a few quotes for systems with varying options and efficiencies. I selected a variable-stage compressor unit, and I'm looking forward to the installation soon. I will post again after the install."

"Watkins was on time and the representative was knowledgeable. What I always appreciate about Watkins is that per company policy, they don't sell service contracts. Other heating/AC companies we've worked with before are always trying to sell service contracts and upsell you on other features that aren't needed. The representative clearly explained what the cause was, which matched what I had suspected it was based on some internet research, and was able to answer follow-up questions. Our unit is quite old, though this was the first repair we have had. He let me know that we'll need to replace it before too long given the age, but did not pressure us to buy anything. And, the AC works just fine now.
