"I had been planning on getting the above items taken care of, but had not yet contacted any plumbers b/c the plumber (found thru Angie's List) I had previously used and I really liked was no longer in business. I have had some past experiences with plumbers involving outrageous pricing so I was in no hurry to go thru that process again. However, while my bathroom sink had been draining slowly it then became totally plugged up, so I now needed to get this work done. So I did some research on Angie's List and got a couple of estimates from highly rated Plumbers. Rob was prompt in getting back to me and we got an appointment set up for him to provide an estimate. Rob showed up on time on a Fri and hIs price was better than the other estimate, but more importantly he was very personable, so I accepted and we set a date the following Tues when my wife would be home. Rob and his helper arrive on time and were very professional, nice and pleasant while doing the  work. They spent the entire day doing the work cleaned up after themselves and everything was as expected. "I called in the late morning and the friendly office person took down all my information and gave me a window of time between 2-4 PM. She later called and said that the serviceman got done early with his morning job and would like to know if he can come earlier. The repairman, Andrew, was professional and knowledgeable. He opened the heating system access doors and found an error code. He promptly fixed the issue and also cleaned another part, which he said could give problems in the future. He took the time to explain why the problem occurred and what he did to fix it. He also took down the make/model of the heating system in case it needs more work in the future. Since there were not parts required, I was only charged the minimum service fee. The heat is working solidly now."

"I am very happy with Mikes Air Conditioning. Here it is JULY and I while in the middle of doing some renovations to my home, I noticed the AC wasn't working the way it should be. I contacted Mike's (fearing the worst) and they sent out a service technician who was able to repair the system for a reasonable cost and buy me some more time before I have to replace the entire system. I had some minor work completed and the freon topped off and now I'm cool and comfy!  Considering all of the expenses with renovating I was very happy to not have a high repair bill. Mikes was efficient, conscientious and professional and they completed the job on time and for a reasonable cost. I recommend them for AC repair as well as installation of new units. When I'm able to replace my system, I'll be calling Mikes Air Conditioning to do the job. Building relationships and getting repeat business should be the goal of any business. I'm glad to see that Mike's takes customer service seriously.
