"I called to set up a free consultation and was promptly met at the agreed upon time. We discussed my desires and how to achieve my project goals. I was given a quote and agreed upon the price for the garage work to be done the following week when I was free. The spray foam and "drill and fill" have been awesome! I have a 24K BTU AC unit in the garage that was unable to keep the temps low as there was so much heat in the garage all day. After the insulation was done it can hold the temps at 70F in the garage while barely turning on during the day. The attic above the garage tops out at 85F when it was over 110F outside, just amazing. We had them do a home energy audit and found that there were plenty of leaky areas in the attic and the insulation was 15 years old and about an R-10 level. It needed some serious work so we agreed to have it topped off with new fiberglass insulation. The guys came out and did and amazing job bringing me up to R-39 as well as keeping the house very clean while doing it. On both days they cleaned up after themselves and took great care of my house. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone that could use more insulation!"

"Outstanding service and affordable. Provided before & after pictures for future reference. Also left a permanent measuring stick in attic to show depth of new insulation. Polite young men cleaned up after completion. Highly recommend."

"Oscar was very professional and did things in a timely manner. He got the job done only a couple days after the estimate which was the best part because with the summer heat approaching we wanted the job done sooner than later."

"The installers showed up on time, were very courteous, completed the job within a few hours, cleaned up and were gone. They did an very good job of installing the insulation and now I can't wait to see my bills go down. The cost of the project was a little more than I wanted to spend but I see it was worth it. It was something I couldn't do myself. I would recommend."

"I got on Angie’s list when I discovered my air conditioning coil was leaking. In early May I added 10 pounds of Freon and a month later I had to add another six. It would have cost me a small fortune to keep the house cool over the summer if I had to wait more than a week or 2 for a new system. Brad contacted me immediately and was very knowledgeable, helpful and not pushy at all. He encouraged me to get other quotes so that I would feel comfortable with his quote. I talked to him on Monday and after getting quotes from 4 other companies - they installed a new system for me on Friday. A father and son team installed the unit and they were not only very courteous but very efficient. Can’t recommend this company high enough."

".The work was good but took 2 days to complete due to the availability of his assistants. The process is extremely messy however and suggest you cover everything when the job is being completed. He was very courteous and through. Make sure to mention if you are a senior as he gives a discount. This is a young company and privately owned so Shawn is eager to make you happy. My house is approximately 1480 sq ft and the other quote I received was for $500.00. That was only for the blown in insulation and not all the AC duct work repair."

"What I was hoping to do didn't make sense so I'm pursuing a do it your self option. I spoke to Jeff Banker personally and he was very helpful, told me my idea didn't make sense since spray on insulation generally looks kind of messy and only makes sense for locations that aren't normally seen. He offered me other ideas and one was simple and easy enough that I'll just do it myself. I will keep him in mind though if/when I decide to spray foam elsewhere in my house. Thanks!"

"This was a very professional, knowledgeable team with which to work. They showed up promptly, explained what they would be doing, and cleaned up after the installation was completed. We have been pleased with the result."

Old insulation should be removed when it shows damage, contamination, or heavy deterioration. If you notice water stains, rodent droppings, mold, or large gaps, plan on taking it out to protect your home’s energy performance and indoor air quality. Removing compromised material eliminates health hazards, cuts energy loss, and sets the stage for a safer, more efficient attic—all while keeping utility bills in check.
R-value measures how well insulation resists heat flow—the higher the number, the better it slows heat transfer. The right R-value keeps your home warmer in winter and cooler in summer, saving energy year-round. Match the rating to your climate zone and have a pro verify performance over time, because moisture or settling can lower R-value and cut efficiency.
Attic insulation can stay in place for 80 to 100 years, but its performance often drops after the first 15. As dust, moisture, or mold build up, the material loses R-value and allows heat to escape. Schedule periodic inspections so a pro can tell you when replacement makes sense—helping you keep energy bills down and indoor comfort up.
You can over-insulate an attic. Beyond the recommended R-value, extra layers don’t add efficiency and can trap moisture, leading to mold or reduced performance. A local insulation pro can measure current levels, confirm the right target for your climate, and advise on any adjustments so you avoid future energy or maintenance headaches.
Insulation can be damaged by mold, pests, water leaks, or accidental electrical contact. When the material is compromised, it loses R-value and can introduce health hazards. Removing and replacing affected sections restores efficiency, while routine inspections from a qualified pro help you catch problems early and keep your attic safe and energy-smart.
