"Ace was the lowest price and used the best insulation material which was fiberglass not cellulose. They showed up when expected and did a good job, we know, my husband was a building inspector before he retired."

"They came out to look and suggested that this was not an insulation problem, but a problem with the duct work for the A/C. They had recommended one of their A/C subcontractors who did an excellent job."

"The project was to insulate the home (1800 sq. ft) --blown in R38 for the attic and 6 inch BATTS (R-19) for the basement/subfloor to protect our newly installed hardwood floors and to provide insulation in general. Every aspect of the process from initial consult call to bidding to project completion was superb. Craig provided excellent customer service. He understood our objective was to get the most value for our investment. He showed up on time and performed the project professionally and seamlessly. I highly recommend this contractor for insulation services."

"They were prompt, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves. I am amazed at the difference the new insulation has made in our house. However, I am still waiting to receive my invoice/receipt for my records."

"Since this remodeling was the first remodeling that we decided to do after a long time since we did our last remodeling that required to hire a contractor to do it. The kitchen that we wanted to remodel, need to includes the cabinets, floors, island, counter tops, hardware, paint and lighting. We also wanted to do as many energy efficient features that will help us reducing the bills during time. Our search was for high quality and low quality and reputable construction companies that can service my area. Landmark construction energy crew was the great find that I was able to talk to and hire. First off their service was top notch. They were very responsive from the first meeting we had, patiently and really wanted to know what I’m trying to do in the kitchen. They were in touch with me during the whole work and made sure to provide me with updates regard anything that was complete and what will be next. What I liked most was that they were extremely detail-oriented. I very much appreciated that, especially given the Major scope of my project and plans. The end results were more than I expected. All the low voltage lightings, the special insulation that they used, the extra protection that they installed in the window that I have in the kitchen and more… All of this features improved the energy protection at the kitchen. They followed up with me the following day after all the final documents were signed off by me about the work in order to make sure that I was happy with the final results. I'm happy to mention that kitchen remodeling project was completed a little bit before the due date."

"Joshua is great! I purchased the toilets at Home Depot and arranged for Joshua to pick them up. Well HD Lancaster location only had two of the HE toilets that I wanted, so the 3rd toilet was picked up in the HD Palmdale store. Joshua did all this with pleasure. He was on time, work was completed superbly and cleanup was on point. I will always call on Joshua for my Handyman needs..."

"Right from the get go Brian was very helpful. He was very up-front and patiently explained all the kinds of insulation and suggested which ones to use. He even went so far as to include the inside wall insulation for soundproofing at no cost since the project was large. Very easy to work with and flexible."
Local and federal rebates are available for insulation installation, which can significantly reduce your overall costs. Many utility companies offer incentives or rebates to homeowners who improve their home's energy efficiency. Contact your local energy provider or government agencies to learn about available programs in your area, and consult with a professional insulation installer to maximize your savings.
It's not necessary to remove old insulation before adding new insulation, as long as the existing insulation is in good condition—dry, free of mold, and not damaged. Adding new insulation on top of old insulation can improve your home's energy efficiency by increasing the overall R-value. However, if the old insulation is wet, moldy, or damaged, it's best to remove it before installing new insulation to prevent potential health risks and ensure optimal performance.
Insulating a house takes between five and twelve hours for batts or boards, and two to five hours for spray foam or blown-in insulation. The exact time depends on the size of your home, the type of insulation, and the accessibility of the areas being insulated. Keep in mind that projects may take longer if old insulation needs removal, if there's a larger square footage, or if spaces are difficult to reach.
