"Mr. David West offered the radiant reflective insulation that fitted to our roof-attic with the best price and best workmanship. Two gentlemen David & Marty worked straight 14 hours to install the radiant insulation through the house and cellulose batt insulation in the additional room. The work is done professionally and beautifully!Thanks a lot!!!"

"From the outset, working with Carl has been a very positive experience. I don't think there is a job out there that Carl could not handle. I am so impressed with his quality of work, professionalism, price point, ability to meet timelines and more. It's always evident that he takes a lot of pride in his work, and goes the extra mile to make sure the job is done right the first time. On several occasions, I've encouraged him to go the "easier route" on a certain part of the job, and each time he went the extra mile and did the job properly - even though it took him longer, and the work was likely more difficult for him - you can tell he likes it done the right way. I am so appreciative of that because the results speak for themselves. Carl has an excellent work ethic, his integrity both personally and professionally are evident, and I trust him implicitly - there are not many people that I would leave a key under the mat for to perform work while I'm not home, but after a few days of having Carl in my home, I wouldn't give it a second thought. I'm a new homeowner, and there has been a major transformation since Carl first stepped in the door. My friends and neighbors all compliment the work that has been done, and it makes going home so enjoyable at the end of a long day! I would very highly recommend Carl at AJP Construction for anyone looking for a knowledgeable craftsman that can handle almost anything home-improvement related!

"We contacted Amtek about having the Duct work repaired, This Very polite young man Showed up. Very knowledgeable, respectful, and clean. even took off his shoes. Allen went into the attic and found not only the duct work was in unrepairable shape but the A.C system had indeed had mold growth as well very rusted and falling apart!!! provided more then enough pictures and video inspection, too back his story up. also found out our insulation was below standard and needed tobe brought up todate. after many phone calls to Tom and Jim, Allen was able to save almost 7k of savings and rebates to help us afford our much needed correction on our issues. I would highly recommend Allen and Amtek To all my family and friends with any future work that they need.
Sincerely;
Adela Duran

"Tyler was very professional and did a fantastic job. I told him of a couple areas that would require special attention and he took care of them. I have another container to insulate after I get this one all set up and I will be calling them again."

Old insulation should be removed when it shows damage, contamination, or heavy deterioration. If you notice water stains, rodent droppings, mold, or large gaps, plan on taking it out to protect your home’s energy performance and indoor air quality. Removing compromised material eliminates health hazards, cuts energy loss, and sets the stage for a safer, more efficient attic—all while keeping utility bills in check.
R-value measures how well insulation resists heat flow—the higher the number, the better it slows heat transfer. The right R-value keeps your home warmer in winter and cooler in summer, saving energy year-round. Match the rating to your climate zone and have a pro verify performance over time, because moisture or settling can lower R-value and cut efficiency.
Attic insulation can stay in place for 80 to 100 years, but its performance often drops after the first 15. As dust, moisture, or mold build up, the material loses R-value and allows heat to escape. Schedule periodic inspections so a pro can tell you when replacement makes sense—helping you keep energy bills down and indoor comfort up.
You can over-insulate an attic. Beyond the recommended R-value, extra layers don’t add efficiency and can trap moisture, leading to mold or reduced performance. A local insulation pro can measure current levels, confirm the right target for your climate, and advise on any adjustments so you avoid future energy or maintenance headaches.
Insulation can be damaged by mold, pests, water leaks, or accidental electrical contact. When the material is compromised, it loses R-value and can introduce health hazards. Removing and replacing affected sections restores efficiency, while routine inspections from a qualified pro help you catch problems early and keep your attic safe and energy-smart.
