"I had my whole house painted as well as my metal fences and lamp post. Great experience with Lopez painting! The results were excellent and the job took a few days less than expected. I would hire again."

"We found Luxz, highly rated, on Angi’s list. The team visited multiple times to ensure their bids were accurate and met the goals of our project needs (stucco repair and exterior house painting). Throughout the project Eddie, Angel, and team were super responsive and open to feedback. They were eager to ensure the work met our expectations. They are straightforward and tell you exactly what they would do if it if it was them in their personal situation, which is so appreciated in this field very often it is difficult to have the level of knowledge and expertise for the situation. You are made to feel like a valued client throughout the process and treated like a real individual regardless of the size of the project. They are definitely a company that we would go back to again and again because they can handle many different situations and jobs."

"Steve arrived promptly at the agreed upon time to give us an estimate. He kept in touch with us throughout the entire process via phone calls or text messages. He was thorough and really knows the business (for interior home painting) He uses quality paint, and paints 2 coats. He gave us a written quote. We got bids from a few others and chose to hire Turner Enterprises. A paint crew was quickly scheduled. They showed up on time (actually arrived several minutes early.) Salvador and Jasmine were great. Very professional. They did an outstanding job. They really went the extra mile. The place looks amazing. Would hire again without any hesitation. SO glad I went with professionals. Whoever had painted it before, did a horrible job. Salvador and Jasmine corrected the previous mistakes and sloppy work, and made it look like new."

"We had to do a siding repair because of a plumbing leak . Bob came out and did the bid the job in the pouring rain. He gave us a very competitive bid right away with no game playing. We are extremely cost conscious so every penny counts. His crew came out and was scheduled to take 6-8 hours to do siding and painting but with the crew boss Rolando's great communication and oversight they had it all buttoned up like nothing had ever happened in under 5 hours. They even spent the last 30 minutes cleaning up the work area and triple checking to make sure all nails had been collected out of the driveway. I was impressed! I will certainly recommend Turnkey Painting Plus to my friends and neighbors."

"Amazing job done by the paint crew! Quick, and as someone who has done their own painting in the past, the tape lines were perfection!"

"Diego was so professional, friendly, and completed high quality work in a timely manner. He put wainscoting panels up and painted the walls of our nursery. The end result was beautiful! He also worked with our budget to give us a very good price for his work. I highly recommend him for anyone needing renovations, painting, wainscoting, etc."

"Interior painting was incredibly well done. RAMOS CONSTRUCTION completed a top notch job under some difficulties. My home is fully furnished and we had daily rains which added to some slow downs. However this crew went above and beyond to make sure that the job was completed with great care. I will absolutely hire this company again. I am planning on having them come out to complete additional projects in the near future. Frieda Carmouche"
Most homeowners opt for semi-gloss or high-gloss paint to make the baseboards stand out against the walls. If you’d rather keep things subtle, matching the wall sheen with eggshell or satin also works well. When your trim has nicks or dents, reach for a flatter, matte finish—it hides minor imperfections better than a shiny coat.
Stripping old paint from trim costs $1 to $3 per linear foot. Pros use specialized tools and techniques to lift away existing layers without gouging the wood, then prep the surface for a fresh finish. While it adds to your budget, proper removal protects the molding and sets the stage for a smoother, longer-lasting paint job.
Tackling the baseboards first often leads to crisper lines. Painting trim first lets you tape off the boards instead of the walls, so you’re less likely to splatter color where you don’t want it. Any stray marks on the wall get covered when you roll on the final coat, making the whole process faster and tidier.
You can absolutely paint baseboards in place. Leaving them installed avoids the risk of cracking or misaligning the boards when they’re reattached. With thorough cleaning, light sanding, and careful taping, a pro—or an experienced DIYer—can achieve a sharp, factory-smooth finish while saving you the hassle of prying off and reinstalling trim.
Painting almost always beats replacement in cost. Swapping out baseboards runs about $150 in DIY materials or roughly $1,100 with a pro, while repainting costs about $50 in supplies and $1 to $5 per square foot for labor. Unless the boards are warped or severely damaged, a fresh coat delivers the same visual upgrade for a fraction of the price.
Paintable caulk and wood filler are the go-to fixes for nail holes in baseboards. Wood filler sands flush for a glass-smooth surface, while caulk provides a flexible seal that won’t crack as the house settles. Either way, patching those tiny divots before you prime ensures your finished baseboards look seamless.
