"The job and work went well. Project was largely in support of master bathroom remodeling. Lopez Painting removed wall paper, repaired woodwork and dry wall from moving electrical outlets and installing canless lights, painted master bath, closet, toilet room, large custom vanity and cabinets. Also, painted general common areas upstairs and down and repaired drywall as needed. Finally, removed wall paper and painted a upstairs bathroom. Lopez painting show up on time, and work long days. Worked well with my general contractor teams during various phases of my masterbath room remodel."

"Eddy and his crew at Lux Painting and Design are great. Their attention to detail, preping before painting, and the final paint job exceeded our expectations. We would definitely use them again and refer them to our friends. They are a company that does not disappoint if you are looking for a high quality job, professionalism, and follow through."

Customers say: Super punctual
"Steve arrived promptly at the agreed upon time to give us an estimate. He kept in touch with us throughout the entire process via phone calls or text messages. He was thorough and really knows the business (for interior home painting) He uses quality paint, and paints 2 coats. He gave us a written quote. We got bids from a few others and chose to hire Turner Enterprises. A paint crew was quickly scheduled. They showed up on time (actually arrived several minutes early.) Salvador and Jasmine were great. Very professional. They did an outstanding job. They really went the extra mile. The place looks amazing. Would hire again without any hesitation. SO glad I went with professionals. Whoever had painted it before, did a horrible job. Salvador and Jasmine corrected the previous mistakes and sloppy work, and made it look like new."

"Flawless paint work. Drywall project could have been a disaster. From a flooded bath area the drywall was removed from under sinks. The exposure of supply lines & drains was intimidating to me and I'm above DYI skilled. I suggested solutions that would have been less stringent but acceptable to me. i.e "just good enough". Jesse's crew politely told me they'd seen worse and proceeded to make it look as if the drywall had been done before plumbing. Prices were very reasonable - good value work. Also they showed up early and worked late."

"We had to do a siding repair because of a plumbing leak . Bob came out and did the bid the job in the pouring rain. He gave us a very competitive bid right away with no game playing. We are extremely cost conscious so every penny counts. His crew came out and was scheduled to take 6-8 hours to do siding and painting but with the crew boss Rolando's great communication and oversight they had it all buttoned up like nothing had ever happened in under 5 hours. They even spent the last 30 minutes cleaning up the work area and triple checking to make sure all nails had been collected out of the driveway. I was impressed! I will certainly recommend Turnkey Painting Plus to my friends and neighbors."

"Eugenio and the rest of the team at Morales Painting did an outstanding job on all phases of the exterior paint job of our house. They were extremely thorough on the prep work starting with bleach spray and then power washing the whole house. They went above and beyond what we expected and did lots of extra touches that we didn't even ask for. They had great customer service and take a lot of pride in their work. Out house looks beautiful!!"

"Amazing job done by the paint crew! Quick, and as someone who has done their own painting in the past, the tape lines were perfection!"

Most homeowners opt for semi-gloss or high-gloss paint to make the baseboards stand out against the walls. If you’d rather keep things subtle, matching the wall sheen with eggshell or satin also works well. When your trim has nicks or dents, reach for a flatter, matte finish—it hides minor imperfections better than a shiny coat.
Stripping old paint from trim costs $1 to $3 per linear foot. Pros use specialized tools and techniques to lift away existing layers without gouging the wood, then prep the surface for a fresh finish. While it adds to your budget, proper removal protects the molding and sets the stage for a smoother, longer-lasting paint job.
Tackling the baseboards first often leads to crisper lines. Painting trim first lets you tape off the boards instead of the walls, so you’re less likely to splatter color where you don’t want it. Any stray marks on the wall get covered when you roll on the final coat, making the whole process faster and tidier.
You can absolutely paint baseboards in place. Leaving them installed avoids the risk of cracking or misaligning the boards when they’re reattached. With thorough cleaning, light sanding, and careful taping, a pro—or an experienced DIYer—can achieve a sharp, factory-smooth finish while saving you the hassle of prying off and reinstalling trim.
Painting almost always beats replacement in cost. Swapping out baseboards runs about $150 in DIY materials or roughly $1,100 with a pro, while repainting costs about $50 in supplies and $1 to $5 per square foot for labor. Unless the boards are warped or severely damaged, a fresh coat delivers the same visual upgrade for a fraction of the price.
Paintable caulk and wood filler are the go-to fixes for nail holes in baseboards. Wood filler sands flush for a glass-smooth surface, while caulk provides a flexible seal that won’t crack as the house settles. Either way, patching those tiny divots before you prime ensures your finished baseboards look seamless.
