"Overall the work was great and our cabinets turned out exactly as we had hoped. By the time we scheduled Neil, he had a backlog of approximately a month and was able to begin the work toward the end of May. Neil was able to get our cabinet boxes painted in two visits. On his second visit, he brought some of the painted doors, and noticed that the color was a little more red than the boxes. He took the doors back, and worked with his paint supplier to get everything right, and was able to get door color matched perfectly. Yes, we had some extra time without cabinet doors, but in the end it was absolutely worth it. Everything looks great, and Neil was great throughout the process. We would definitely recommend Neil to anyone looking to have this work done in their home."

"Working with Mike at Affordable Painting & Repairs was overall a great experience. I hired him for two different jobs (drywall and building an enclosure with a new door), he completed each job far sooner than anticipated. He also did something many people in his position wouldn't consider... he lowered the price to more accurately reflect the hours each job took. I was also very impressed with his timeliness, every time he told me he would arrive or call at a given time he did. He also demonstrated a firm grasp of the skills needed for both jobs. Overall, I found him to be honest, ethical, fair, skilled and reasonable. I basically let him be and he got both jobs done sooner and less expensively than originally quoted. "The CertaPro painting crew communicated their schedule before starting and met their schedule, weather permitting. The crew respected our preferred start time each day. Equipment was stored neatly at the end of each day. Our house is covered in Hardy cement board shingles and requires exceptional attention to detail to prevent drips. This complication was handled perfectly and the process was not rushed. The rear of the property required painting at up to 30 feet high from ladders. The crew showed excellent ladder safety practices and took no shortcuts. All of the workers were polite, friendly and diligent. I do not give 5 star ratings unless they are well earned. I am very happy with the work and the improved appearance of our home. CertaPro will be my first call if I need painting services in the future."

Chris’ work is high quality – he’s a seasoned contractor, handyman and "master of the "punch list" who can handle both interior and exterior issues. His expertise includes electrical, gas stove repair, faucet repair, changing locks, repairing doors, putting in thresholds and transitions, repairing windows and screens, insulating pipes, mold remediation, putting in drywall, finishing and painting, cement work, boiler work, downspout repair, and more. On top of this, Chris is a personable fellow and cares about his customers. I’m a relatively new property owner -- Chris’ advice about property safety issues and tenant relations has been helpful. More importantly though, Chris himself is a landlord, and sees things from an owner’s point of view. Here's why this is important: When I explained there was a water-damaged hallway/stairwell repair project that needed to be done incrementally due to cash flow – Chris understood immediately, and explained how it could be done in sensible, lower-cost phases. He used modern tools that made the job more professional than other contractors that I have used in the past. He was able to do the project in 2 days - 1 to wash the 2 decks and 2 to apply the stain / paint to them. He did the work when promised and was easy to work with."
