"Rich was great to work with. The painters came when they said they would be here. The price was very responsible. The painters did a great job painting the outside of the house. "Our ceiling has never looked better! Jason's crew came in and I was pleased with their attention to detail when it came to painting our living room ceiling. Not only were they very meticulous in protecting all of our living room furniture, but the final paint job was perfect! Their service is outstanding and I have never had a better experience with any other paint company. Apollo paint and stain did great work and I highly recommend them!"

"It was nice to be able to have my condo painted in half a day. I gave 50% deposit before the job and then paid after reviewing that everything was painted the way I want. They are very professional to cover everything. Price was good and included the Behr paint. I communicated with them mostly over text and email since I was out of the country while trying to coordinate the date of the job."

"They were very professional, did exactly what I ask. They replaced some drywall and where a mirror once was they blended the whole wall and you couldn’t even tell there was once a mirror in the wall. They also placed a tarp up so dust would not leave the area they were working in. I will use them again if I need anything painted or drywall replaced and painted."

You’ll need 1 gallon of paint per 350 square feet of coverage. Typical amounts per room size:
Small room (200-400 sq. ft.): 1 gallon.
Medium-sized (400-800 sq. ft.): 2-4 gallons.
Large (800-1,200 sq. ft.): 5-gallons or more.
Painters usually make $20 per hour on average or about $40,000 per year. Independent contractors might pocket a little more. However, they must charge for overhead, such as vehicles, equipment, insurance, marketing and association dues.
Specialty painting, like murals and trompe l’oeil, costs $40 to $50 per hour. Paint might range between $75 to $90. The professional’s skill and experience are also determining factors. While a freelance artist might charge $25 to $30 an hour, a very skilled professional might charge $80 or more. Some might also charge $60 or more for a consultation.
Trompe l'oeil creates a realistic image or optical illusion in three dimensions. Murals are composed on a wall of any size. These two projects vary in price, with a trompe l'oeil typically costing more because of its complexity. Both are considered specialty projects.
