Overall, the repair was expensive, but I felt confident I got what I paid for. The workmanship and professionalism throughout the project was great. The plumbers worked non-stop for almost 10 hours and everything was always to code and it felt like no corners were ever cut to just "finish" the job. Also, the little things like wearing masks and coverings of their shoes for the whole job added to the high-level of polish in their service. "Well, it's fixed. A learning experience ? get many bids and make sure the company wants your business. Pros ? Technicians were polite and respectful of my home while I worked in meetings all day. ? The pooling water issue in the basement was resolved, and the floor is now dry; the work was ultimately completed. ? Initial estimate visit was free, but not thorough ? Senior staff came out later to apologize and review the work. Cons ? Pricing was far higher than industry norms based on later bids. ? Avoidable scope changes and price increases after work began; two other plumbers said the job could have been done as originally quoted. ? Communication issues (delayed quotes, unclear explanations, forgotten site details). ? Work quality/finishing didn?t match the premium price; two professionals asked if we had done the work ourselves. Added pictures because I don't know plumbing, so you decide if you'd want this. ? Extra fees add up: 10% financing fee (Synchrony) and 4% credit card fee."
