"The exterior trim around my deck door was rotting and falling off. He did an absolute wonderful job showing me what the issues were underneath the trim, telling me options, even consulted a builder friend of his to confirm the best possible solution. The final result was spectacular and you can tell the care and pride he takes in his work. He was transparent with pricing and what he was going to do, and he asked me several times my opinion about the the work to be done and the appearance. He also arrived when he said he would and completed the work carefully but efficiently . He will be my go to person from now on if we need any handyman services in our home. I can't say enough about how pleased we are. He's also a very nice and personable individual."

"After purchasing a tub, fixtures, flooring, etc and waiting over 3 months for the contractor that was recommended by a friend he finally told me he was not able to fit the job into his schedule. I got online that night, Friday March 4th 2022 and found Matt. I received a message from him the next day and on Monday, March 7 he showed up at exactly the time we scheduled. I was already impressed that he was punctual and after going over everything I wanted done he agreed to all my specifications including a closet the first contractor did not want to tackle and removing a soffit above the tub area, also part of the job the other contractor did not feel comfortable doing. The following Tuesday, March 15th Matt and his crew showed up, again at our specified time (so impressed!!) and did a complete demolition of the bathroom down to the studs. The entire job was finished in 4 days and three months later I am enjoying my bathroom and can't say enough about hot satisfied I am with the job. Matt was kind enough to check back with me over the past weekend and is planning to do a couple follow up touching up issues that we had talked about. On a personal note, I found him to be personable with my kind of sense of humor!"

"We called Machen for an estimate to tear off our old roof on our house and detached garage. They were very responsive and Jodi even came out on a Saturday to give us an estimate. He was very knowledgeable regarding the materials and products we needed, and we were impressed that he actually climbed the roof to take all of the measurements, where other contractors we had contacted did not. The estimate we received was fair considering that the roof deck would need wrapped and the amount of ice guard we needed. Jodi and his team were on time every day and got right to work. They took their time on the job and were very conscientious about the work performed to ensure it was done correctly. Jodi takes a lot of pride in ensuring the job site remains neat and takes a lot of care to ensure they thoroughly clean up before leaving for the day. We ran into heavy rain halfway through the project and Jodi even came out on the weekend to ensure that the roof was water tight before the rain hit. The new roof looks great and we are very pleased with the end result!"
