We have several estimates on replacing our window and doors.  Wood Rot was the highest of the three by a several thousand dollars.  We choose Wood Rot solutions anyway.  And very glad that we did.  His service and workmanship is well worth the extra money.
WE could not be any happier with our windows, and doors.  And would recommend that if you want things done right, I would pay the extra cost and use Wood Rot Solutions.

"Easy communication with White Dog, quick response time for obtaining the estimate and in all later communications. The explanations were informative and helpful, and the advice we received proved sound. Prep work included carpentry to remove storm windows, replace some damaged wood/trim, pressure washing, scraping, caulking, priming, and painting (one fill color/tan, one trim color/cream, one color for entry doors/teal), and reinstall storms. The house originally was painted with lead-based paint, so some lead precautions were necessary. The daily clean-ups were carefully done, as was the final cleanup and disposal. Two storms were broken, and the glass was replaced without us needing to ask. The painting team were friendly and courteous, and respectful of our home. I absolutely would hire White Dog again, and unreservedly recommend their services."

"I hired AW Painting for several projects inside my house. I had had water damage in the basement, so I needed the ceiling painted and several walls painted. I also wanted wallpaper stripped out of a guest bath and the walls painted, trim fixed, caulked and painted in my master bath, and an accent wall painted in the kitchen. First of all, Alvin gave me a very detailed, written quote, which I appreciated. He also helped me talk through the type of paint I wanted to use, colors that would look good, etc. After all that had been decided, Alvin began working. He is very meticulous and takes great pride in his work. He's extremely detail-oriented, and it's obvious his goal is to do the very best possible work for his client. For example, when doing my accent wall in the kitchen (which was a tomato red color), he felt that he needed to apply a third coat, even though I couldn't detect any imperfections after the second coat. The trim in my bathroom looks like new. I have no idea how he was able to transform it from the mess it was! I also was very appreciative of how neat Alvin was while he worked. He minimized the messes and was careful to clean up after he was done. I am very impressed with his work and will hire him again for my painting needs."
