"John and his grandson, Mark, started right on time on the date and at the time promised. John was careful in the drywall and plaster repair, taking care that the textured pattern of the new plaster matched that of the old plaster. The painting was done neatly and carefully using high quality paint matching the color we requested. The work took one day longer than the 4 days estimated. But John and Mark came every day until the work was finished. The walls and ceilings had never been painted before and the plaster absorbed more paint than John had estimated. John explained this to us when it became apparent that more paint would be needed. We agreed to pay for the additional paint at his discounted cost. The repaired, repainted garage is beautiful."

"The project was smooth start to finish. The owner, Jason, provided me a quote over email within a day of sending him measurements and dimensions. They came and picked up the dressers and called me in a couple weeks once they were ready for me to pick out the stain color. They got the stain to match exactly what I had wanted. They delivered the dressers when they were finished. The dressers don't even look like the original. The original color was a yellow toned, oak color. It was worth every penny to refinish them because these were two solid, well-made pieces and I couldn't find the quality in the stores today without spending more than I did with Carmel Custom Refinishing. I would highly recommend this business. The process does take some time 4-5 weeks total for me but the process in general just takes time. It was well worth the wait which I didn't think was long at all."

"Paul and his crew are are very detailed and take great pride in their work.  He has also painted some interior surfaces for me including cabinetry and trim.  He leaves a clean area at the end of the day.  He is always on time and his prices are very reasonable.

"Dustin, William, and his team did an excellent job on our project. For 2 years, we struggled to get anyone out here to even provide a quote. Dustin showed up in a timely manner, provided us a quote, and put us on the schedule in no time. Dustin and the team ran into multiple challenges when replacing our cedar siding with cement board. These challenges had nothing to do with their capabilities, but were a result of the weather, and the placement of our house. Dustin and team persevered and kept control of the project and timeline. Their level of detail is impeccable. We were extremely impressed with the overall results of the siding. The caulking and painting are flawless. I purchased this Big Deal for 2 painters 8hrs each for $500. I contacted Mario the next day.  He was not able to do the job until  weeks out--due to his busy schedule.  I decided that I wanted the house power washed before it was painted ( that would be extra)--I also questioned him about caulking windows and other areas as needed--he told me that would be included in the purchased price.

I asked Mario to come out to my residence before the job started to give me estimate of how much paint I would need and estimate on the power wash.  Mario did come out as requested--I appreciated that as opposed to just showing up on the scheduled day. He said he would use 3 painters for 5.3hrs--"would go faster"  I was ok with that. If I had any questions or concerns I would call Mario and he returned my calls in a timely manner.

The day of  the job he called and informed me he would not be able to start due to the weather. The following day his crew showed up and power washed.  They showed up early the next day and painted.  The workers were professional, they did a great job--very neat. I asked one of the workers about grass I saw in the gutter--I offered to climb the ladder and remove the debris--but he was nice enough to do it for me--I really appreciated that.

I had to leave my house while they were painting--I arrived back at the end of the 5.3hrs.  Mario informed me that he had to send one of the workers home "was not feeling well."  I had to take his word that the worker was on the job for the allotted time. He said they were not able to finish the job in the 5.3 hrs so the price would be $300 ($200 for power wash).

Mario had to leave and left the one painter to finish the job--about 2hrs later.  We had a little disagreement about that $100. He became a little frustrated with me and said "just give me the $200."  In retrospect I will pay him the $100--because they did do a great job and cleaned out my gutter!.  I will probably not go for this type of deal again; I question --are you really getting 100% from each worker. But overall  Mario did a great job, he aims to please, a nice guy.

"This was my second time using Five Star Painting and again I was thrilled with the work.  Larry and crew are top notch!  From the quote to the final walk through Larry, the owner, is there to make sure you are 100% satisfied with the work.  Roger and assistant did the work on this project and did a beautiful job.  They take great care to protect the floors and furniture while cleaning up at the end of each day and at the end of the project. 
Good painters are hard to find and I will be using Larry & Five Star for all my future painting needs.  As a matter of fact they are scheduled to do the exterior of my house as soon as the weather turns warmer.
