"Jim did such a good job and was so nice to work with, we referred him to our neighbors. He started refinishing their cabinets today. We took before and after photos to remind ourselves of where we started. It was amazing. Jim has a vast knowledge of wood and finishes. We explained what we wanted and he did exactly that. He does all of his work by hand. He cleaned the cabinets, applied shellac, sanded them and applied varnish. Other quotes were for removing the cabinet doors and taking them to a workshop to be sprayed with clear coat. He did not remove our doors. While he was working in an area, he protected the counters with plastic and the floors with tarps. He showed up when he said he would. He was respectful of our home, us and our dog. We felt comfortable with him arriving and leaving when we weren't here because he's that kind of guy. He approaches his work with wood as an artist, with a keen sense of color and texture."
