"I had a leak that can be seen from a ceiling. Called several roofing companies and got no reply back. Used home advisor and have Andrea called me and scheduled the visit promptly for Freddy to come and check the leak. Freddy was very professional, identified the leak that was due to improper seal of one of the skylights and fixed it right away. He also checked my other skylights and some had the same problem which he fixed. Freddy checked my roof for issues and provided tips for maintenance so it can last long. "I went with Ken because of all the roofers I spoke to, he was the only one that wanted to address my concern about attic ventilation.  All of the other roofers just wanted to slap shingles up.  Ken, on the other hand, actually looked inside the attic and came up with a plan to get better ventilation in the attic.  With the winters we've been having, I wanted better ventilation to help mitigate any issues with ice dams.  His plan was to open up the soffit along the whole front and back sides of the house and put in a perforated material to allow much more ventilation than the small vents every 8 or so feet that I had.   Ken also had no problem pulling back the siding by the dormer windows and shed dormer because there was no flashing.  I even asked Ken if he could go overkill and use 12' of ice and water barrier from the bottom of the roof.  All of my concerns were addressed and I felt comfortable letting Ken's crew do the work.
I am pleased with the work done.  The roof/skylight was complete in one day, but everything else took a little longer than expected.  I had asked to have the siding by the dormers to be pulled back so that flashing could be put in place.  I had issues with leaking by the dormer windows because there was no flashing.  However, apparently my siding was a non-standard size and had to be special ordered.  This delayed the process for a bit.  Now the work is complete, and I'm happy everything turned out great!

"The B & R team was a pleasure to work with through the whole process, from quote to paying after the job was done. We had heard water dripping onto a ceiling on our second floor during a heavy storm, and called several roofers for quotes. Five different companies came out, two of which wanted to replace the whole roof, and three that said it should just be repaired. During that process, several of the companies mentioned that our chimney needed repointing as well, so we added that to the job. Robert Jr. came out for B & R on a Monday after I had spoken with them on a Friday, and I had detailed quotes in my email that night for the work. They were quick to respond to questions by email, text, and phone. Once I got them the signed contract, they were in touch within the week to get the work scheduled, and had their mason and roofing team on site two weeks after I had gotten them the contract. A day and a half later, I had a beautifully repointed chimney with a cap, rotted wood around the base of the chimney replaced, perfect flashing, and a roof that no longer leaks at all. The team kept me informed throughout the process, letting me know about any issues they encountered and keeping me posted on their timelines. After they were done, they cleaned up the site completely (and even cleaned up the leaves and sticks that were in the driveway from a recent storm). The final price came in just slightly over the original quote because they had to replace more wood than they were originally expecting around the base of the chimney - it took more materials and more time than what was covered under the original estimate, but only cost a little more than the quote. All in all a great process, and I'd highly recommend Robert Jr. and the team at B & R for any roofing or chimney related work that you need."

"Adrian and his crew are excellent and we could not be more pleased. You can see the professionalism and craftsmanship in his workers by the way they work efficiently without rushing. They work very hard and do a good job of cleaning up after the fact. Their attention to detail was noticeable. We would definitely use Fereirra Co, again, and I have recommended him to others. Adrian is very easy to talk to, no pressure, no push to upsell services. He said his quote wouldn't be the very lowest or the highest and he was spot on. I had five estimates from various roofers, ranging from $8k for a barebones two man operation to $23k from the fulltime salesman with a well known large roofing company who tried to sell me on the benefits of custom flashing and offered $2k off if I signed that day. I wanted the siding pulled back on my house to have the flashing and rubber sheeting up the side above the lower roof to avoid issues with ice and leaks in the future. Other roofers wanted to charge me from $1800-3000 for that extra work. Adrian included it in the price of his initial quote - he said he always does that work because it is the right way to do it. His crew moved all the vents and vent pipes on the roof back away from the roof edge to avoid the possibility of future issues with ice dams. They also painted the vent pipes to match the shingles. We needed a number of sheets of plywood replaced due to prior damage in the attic. Adrian quoted me a price to strip and replace an estimated number of sheets. We ended up needing more sheets and a couple rafters replaced due to additional damage not seen before. He only charged me for materials for the additional sheets of plywood as he had promised to do before hand."
