"Kim and his son did a great job replacing the EPDM rubber flat roof and patching/fixing the decking. There were some unforeseen issues that required resheathing the roof deck, which comes with the territory I suppose, but they were able to handle everything and still get the repairs done in about a day and a half. They seemed confident I could get insurance to cover it, but that was not the case so I had to cover it all out of pocket. In the contract I didn't see any type of warranty for work or materials. I had read that these rubber roofs could last up to 50 years, so when requested, Josh wrote in a 10 year workmanship warranty. Seemed strange to me I had to request it, but it has been over 2 years so far and it seems to be holding up, so that is good. Nice enough people, and I'm thankful they were able to take on the job, get it done in a timely manner, and maintain good communication throughout. This took place in the fall of 2021, which was during a booming time in construction and it was hard enough to find a company that would even call back, nonetheless one with experience with rubber/flat roofing."

If questions or concerns arose throughout the project we were able to discuss those things and come to a remedy to correct the question or concern. The crew of people that they have working for them and the subcontractors they brought in were all professional and courteous. They are very fair on their pricing and when they discovered some things that would help with insulation on our home or structural issues in our soffits - they immediately had a clear explanation for their suggestion and price for that to be fixed. "Chase from Excel Renovation was great to work with regarding our residential garage roof leak. He was very personable and there was excellent/ professional communication in talking through the potential issue and then scheduling a time to meet. Chase ended up starting with a simpler repair approach first, re-fastening and re-sealing a roof flashing, which we agreed was the right thing to do for our type of roof leak (very small leak) and for this cold time of year (late Nov). He was very honest in what he thought was the likely issue and digging deeper right away in our case, instead of just resealing and testing first, may cause more harm than good. He would not take any money for the repair…I tried though. :-) He said to keep an eye on it during the upcoming rain and snow melt(s) and he could always dig deeper if needed in the spring, removing interior sheetrock and then applying water with a hose over suspected area on the roof. If you’re looking for an honest company that won’t steer you wrong, give these guys a call. I highly recommend this company and I would definitely work with them again!"

"I had a large branch from an oak tree fall over my house during a wind storm. I had my insurance company out for an inspection and was told I would need a new roof. J&B Roofing did a wonderful job with my new roof and wood repairs from the branch damage. "This is a follow up from work done 2 years ago. Roof/gutters still great and siding ok. However the metal that was installed over the soffit in several areas is pulling away and one piece blew off in the wind. After looking close at several areas on a tall ladder I found many nails not pounded into the wood soffit hence the reason many areas were pulling away. Walker did come out and repair several areas recently after I called so that was good. Hopefully all else holds up for at least what should be the expected lifetime but I have my doubts at least on the soffits. Look closely at photos submitted to see what is happening."

The price was under other estimates and fit our budget so we decided to replace the roof. Deciding to work with E-roof was easy and convenient. Tyler was super responsive and clear about the work window they had available. He was on-site multiple times to go over options and answer questions.
