Jon showed up a few hours later, found the circuit breaker continued to pop out, he suspected a short in the pump. He pulled the pump out of the well, replaced it with a new pump, new wiring, and new 80ft flexible pipe. Then ran the pump "into the air" before connecting back to the house plumbing until the water ran clear. Cleaned up and removed all debris."

Hamilton Bros. arrived within one hour of the call, whereas others would have taken days. I asked pointed questions of the employee so I would know what to look for and he answered all of them thoroughly. The pressure tank is what had gone out, they refilled the tank and checked the well, finding water softener filter in the pipe and they cleaned that out. They turned off the water softener for me and told me how to get the filter pellets out of the lines inside the house. And now I know what to look for if the problem starts again, long before the water goes out."
