"The job was well executed. Compliments to everyone at Speedy Septic. Hayden Buley was very quick to respond to my request for an estimate. I called several other septic system installers on listed on Angie's list who were either booked far into the future, or who did not respond to messages. Hayden made an appointment and came out to inspect the site as agreed and on time. He was very personable and professional. He set up a second meeting involving Mr. Rooter. He then provided an emailed cost estimate. One uncertainty in cost was whether the drain field needed to be replaced. This could not be determined until it was unearthed and inspected. Fortunately the drain field was still functioning well. A new distribution box was needed, and the drain field pipes were cleaned with the "Jetter" and all was well. The job took a little longer than planned due to bad weather. Our only winter snow and ice storms happened while the job was underway. We live on a fairly high hill and the snow and ice conditions were fairly bad, so I can't fault Speedy Septic for having the job take a little bit longer than planned. Then made sure that we had functioning toilets throughout most of the job, always when their work day was done. I'm happy to report that original cost estimate was very accurate. Compliments to all of the Speedy Septic and Mr. Rooter crew. They worked hard in some very cold and nasty weather to get the job done."

"Is it weird to say a septic service company are angels from the Lord, because that is how we feel today. I’m about to have our fourth baby and we discovered a clog that resulted in leakage (I’ll spare the details)onto our lawn where our kids play. I called A Affordable Septic, they were so kind and helpful on the phone, and called their technician who got to our house within HALF AN HOUR. He figured out the problem, not only fixed it but also cleaned up the leaked sewage (which we were not expecting!) and bleached the area, and pumped our whole system. Three hours from discovering this unfortunate event the problem was SOLVED and our whole system is working better than ever. He also took his own initiative to fix the broken pipe and cap we hadn’t gotten around to and order us a new clean cap. What could have been a disaster or at least major headache right before a new baby was barely a blip on our radar. And he did it all kindly with three excited young children wanting to “help” dig out the drain. Price was affordable and we are so appreciative!"

Due to a small lot, our options were limited; but rather than a huge and unsightly bottomless sand filter, we opted for a less obtrusive (but expensive) treatment unit and pumps along with the needed replaced drainfield. "Simpson Plumbing was great to work with. After discovering a large leak in our basement ceiling late last night, I quickly turned off the main water valve for our house and started ripping down soaking wet sheetrock. We discovered the source of the leak?our upstairs bathtub. I called Simpson first thing in the morning, and they immediately set me up with an appointment today between 3 and 5pm. Dale arrived promptly at 3pm and helped me discover the source of the leak. He spent about an hour at our house, and by the time he left, the leak had been fixed and my wife and I had running water again. We're really relieved that it was a quick and fairly easy fix. Much thanks to the Simpson team for helping us out so promptly. We'll be sure to contact you with any future needs (though honestly, I hope there won't be any for a while!)

UPDATE: Well, it turned out that the leak wasn't entirely fixed, as we found a small pool of water on the floor the next morning. I called Simpson back, and they said Dale would stop by later that afternoon, which he did. He ended up needing to replace a piece of the drain pipe which took about an hour, but the leak is now 100% fixed. Dale waived the service fee for the return visit (only charging for the parts and a little labor) which I appreciated."

"Gene phoned prior to arrival just as promised. He also arrived within the window of time I was given. It took him about 30 minutes to complete the repair. He also did preventative maintenance on the hot water side as well since both valves are the same age. He even let me know where my water shutoff is located since living in a condo makes it a little confusing. Additionally the price came in just as I was prepared for with the initial quote. Great experience!"
