"We hired SRS Exteriors to do 8 window wraps for us. When they took the old trim off the wood was all rotted around the windows and as Moe pulled the siding off he noticed all the wood was rotted, under the siding also. So they had to replace all the sheathing and then reside, they kept us informed of all the issues that were unknown at the start of the project. What was suppose to be a simply project turned out to be a bigger job then we all expected but Andrew and Moe made time to make our repairs, they even worked 8 hours on Thanksgiving day to ensure that our home would be done and secure for the winter. They are true craftsmen and are dedicated professionals who look out for the best interest of the homeowner, They worked late hours to get the job done and left the work area spotless. I would highly recommend them to all my friends and family and any homeowner, In fact I plan on having them back in the spring to do some more work on my home, and my neighbors are already asking for thier number to get some work done.."

"This pair of true craftsmen worked magic on my old but serviceable 28-year-old wood windows. Two casement & two large fixed windows suffered substantial cosmetic rot in sash, sill &/or brick-mold. Windows were removed & completely rebuilt. The skill displayed in fashioning the intricate re-framing of the windows from 4â x4â stock using a table saw amazed me. They did additional exterior work, replacing rotted wood trim around the garage & chimney areas. All work was caulked, & repainted. Half dozen other contractors shied away from any cosmetic repair, each suggesting full window replacement. Work was done very reasonably compared to replacement cost, they look brand new. I thank God they came to DeKalb for us & saved our beautiful windows. Prayers answered, they have our highest recommendation."

They had seen this problem before and made valuable suggestions to prevent from happening again in which I then had corrected before new siding was installed. "John Garelli gave me the estimate along with much of the design ideas I needed. They did the John-Hardie board siding, windows, doors and are painting the exterior brick when the weather permits. They are great at keeping me informed of the the progress of the job and always on time and courteous. They answered all my questions and concerns. Nicest contractors I have ever dealt with. "Simply put, you will NOT find a better, more honest, more helpful, more easy-to-work-with, reasonably priced contractor than John Lee and his crew at J & K Home Improvement & Restoration! We had a "complicated" set of circumstances when our home was damaged by a storm, last winter. The insurance company sent out an estimator to assess the damage and, after the company recommended J & K Home Improvement & Restoration, I was introduced to John Lee. I eventually learned that John also does estimates for a variety of insurance companies (because his company is so well regarded), and he patiently listened as I described the nuances associated with our house. During our initial consultation, he was able to clearly describe all of the steps that would be necessary and answer all of our questions. Long story short, not only was John able to address EVERY single concern and request that we had regarding the eventual repairs to the house (including roof, siding, and a window upgrade that would have cost much more if we had done it at a later time), but he spent plenty of extra time making sure that everything we had talked about was addressed to our 100% satisfaction! He was also able to persuade the insurance company to cover more complete repairs than was originally specified by the first adjuster! In addition, when we had an electrical "hiccup" associated with all the pounding on the walls, John quickly sent an expert electrician to locate and correct the problem. He absolutely could have passed those charges on to us because the failure wasn't due to any mistake on the part of his crew but, instead, he picked up the unanticipated expense himself. It was truly a pleasure to work with John! He made a difficult situation as easy to manage as possible, and we would strongly recommend J & K Home Improvement & Restoration to anyone who wants to hire a quality contractor that stands behind their work and well-earned reputation!"
