"We had storm damage on our 1950's rambler--the roof/gutters/siding all needed to be replaced. This was complicated when lead was found in the paint of our redwood siding. We had several contractors come out, assess the damage and then never responded again. When Rick's came out to give us a quote, they were on time, gave us a fair, clear quote and met with our insurance adjuster to make sure the adjuster understood the complexity of the project and the potential cost. Without Rick going to bat for us with the adjuster, we could never had afforded to get our house properly fixed. Rick's replaced our entire exterior including removing/replacing the windows, soffits, facia, gutters, roof and siding. It was a major renovation on our little house and garage. Everything proceeded smoothly, they showed up when they said they would, the costs were what they said they would be and the materials and workmanship were top notch. "The experience from the initial quote to the actual application of stucco was very smooth.  The explanation of the process and what to expect was very clear.
There were some repairs to the existing stucco (cracks) and this work was performed quickly and was well done.  Two weeks was allowed for the repairs to cure.  We asked for an estimate of when the follow on work would occur and Bill (McClellan) was right on time with his estimate.
The crew of four showed up on a Monday and began the process with prepping which included taping windows, removing gutter downspouts, removing lights, removing  house numbers, and erecting scaffolding.  Particular attention was used in lying down drop cloths.  It was clear that great care was taken to protect the house and plantings.
The individuals on the crew had clearly worked together for a long time and they worked very well together.  Everyone had a role and they used their time efficiently.
The end product is very well done.  It is apparent that the persons actually applying the mortar were trained and skilled craftsmen who had years of experience.  Their help with color and texture was very valuable.
The crew was very good about cleaning up.  They made certain that any mortar remains were cleaned up and that the driveway was washed down.

I would normally be hesitant to speak to someone going house to house but he was very friendly and polite. And in the end, I was looking for someone to do the work and didn't know where to start looking (this was before Angie's List). Because this was an insurance claim, I can't speak to price other than they worked within the guidelines and estimates dictated by my insurance company. "We were first referred to Darren and his crew at Twin City Handyman in October of 2014 when we were in need of having a new patio door installed. TCH went and picked out the door, brought it to the house and installed it, saving us time and the headache of having to arrange it ourselves. They did such a great job we immediately planned to have them install a whole new front door unit (jamb, side window, transit and all) once we got the unit ordered and delivered. TCH ended up installing it on one of the coldest days that year. We were very pleased with their work and knew we had found our "go-to" handyman crew. Our next project was the moving of several light fixture outlet boxes in our kitchen and once done, the repair of the ceiling that had a few small staines due to a soda explosion and minor bathtub overflow from upstairs. Lester, the technician on duty for this and most of the other jobs, is an expert at, among other things, and we couldn't have been more pleased with the end result. He repaired the area and then re-popcorn sprayed the entire area. It looked brand new when he was done. We were also in the middle of a kitchen remodel at the time and had ordered a new oven-microwave combo. Because the size was different from our previous model, the cabinet had to be altered. I was probably more worried about this than I was about any other project, due to the fact that the kitchen is the most often used and visible area in our home, however, once again, the crew at TCH outdid themselves. The end result was that the cabinet looked great and any sign of alternation was almost microscopic. As stated, TCH has been our go-to for all of our projects since we discovered them, including the installation of both garage doors on our house that needed to be replaced due to major rusting. For all the jobs listed above, we are estimating the total cost of the service part of our bill to be around $4,0000-$5,000. That said, we have been more than please with our relationship with Darren, Lester and the crew at TCH. They are both professional and friendly. Darren has always been quick to get back to us about any questions we have had, and when we had the problem with the doors that shifted, they were quick to follow up and correct the problem. Without question, we would recommend Twin City Handyman to anyone who asked."
