This was a very good experience from the beginning.  My contact was always with Bill McClellan, who would always return phone calls timely.  I had some cracks in my garage stucco due to normal settling and wanted them patched. The estimate was the same as I'd gotten from another company, but Bill provided more detailed information about the repairs, and mentioned that one of the areas required new metal lath.  He also offered me an Angie's list discount.

The work crew did a great job. They used a drop cloth and tape around the service door.  The work was efficient, too.  I saw the truck, the work and clean up was done quickly, and suddenly the truck was gone.  I needed to have one additional patch done and, again, I looked out the window and saw that it had been completed (early on a Saturday morning).

I would not hesitate to use this company again.  I did meet Bill in person and he is a very easy person to work with, but also is professional.

"We own a very old duplex which has the original heavy oak doors.  Over the years, the veneer has begun to buckle and the finish has started to fade quite a bit.  We were not sure they could be repaired, even though they are structurally sound and have a lot of character.  We considered purchasing new doors, painting the doors, and even buying replacement doors from the same era.  The options appeared to cost anywhere from several hundred to a few thousand dollars.  As a last resort I called Stephen to get his opinion.  We had hired him two years ago to do some work at our duplex and were very pleased with what he had done.  Stephen stopped by and then called back right away.  He assured me that the doors could be easily repaired and refinished, and that is just what he did.  I am very happy with the outcome; they look great.  While he was here, he also took the time to touch up the back side of both doors and the threshhold (without me even asking).  He also offered to fix the sweep on the screen door.
We had purchased an Angie's List coupon from Stephen a few years ago.  I was not even aware that we still had a few hours  of credit left when we called.  Stephen actually had kept track and his visit to repair the doors didn't cost us anything more.  
He is a really nice guy, entirely ethical, does high quality work, and recommends ways to be as frugal as possible. Some jobs require a handyman,not a contractor, and he is the perfect person for that.  I highly recommend him and we will definitely have him back in the future.

"Every part of the project was a thoroughly professional experience from the quote to review of the completed siding. These are the business and trades people that you dream of finding when you do not have a reference from friends or family. William's demeanor and questions at the sales quote visit immediately showed his experience and competence. Project supervisor Nick was an excellent communicator and a skilled tradesman. The crew was friendly, polite and did an excellent job installing James Hardy siding and aluminum soffit with fascia. It looks great and feels even better with lower heating bills already. Jennifer in the office kept us informed and updated. Contract, price, materials, labor, service and completion review were all outstanding. They also went above and beyond to demolish and build a new deck in time for a summer ending birthday party. I would not hesitate to call them for our next project and neither should you."

"Ivan was great to work with. We had him replace siding and all windows, paint outside, a new front door, paint all walls and ceilings inside, replace counter-tops, paint cabinets and trim, remove an interior wall and bar, replace all sinks, add new lighting plus numerous small projects. He checked in daily to make sure the work was getting done properly. We encountered some delays (much of which was out of his control) but he always did everything in his power to make things right. He was willing to do whatever it took to make us happy. He treated us with integrity and the prices were very reasonable. We love the new look to the house and would definitely use him again"

"All went well with the roofing and I would give an A rating for the roof. C or B rating for siding. It looks good but the sub-contractor used didn't pay much attention to detail and was a know it all so Walker had to have him come back a few times and fix things. Each time siding guy came back he only did a few of the things I had mentioned but didn't complete all. Eventually Walker finished all. I would hire again especially for the roof but would ask for a different sub-contractor for the siding. Gutters work turned out good. The Salesman and Job Foreman were excellent to work with. In this day and age its hard to find a good price, quality, and reliability all in one company and Walker did as good as any other company would have I believe and I have had experience with other companies and also being in the trades myself."

"The crews did a great job with re-roofing my garage, repairing the wood and metal trim around my garage door and replacing a seal. Their pricing was comparable to other estimates, but their proactive communication and responsiveness to my questions along with their follow-through until solid completion is significantly better than most other contractors I have had over my years of home ownership.
