"This is my first time to write on Home Advisor and I rarely write review. One simple advice: Use Lasting Strength! Adam is the best! Adam helped me build an interior wall and installed a window and a door on it. This wall will separate the play room into another bedroom. Adam and his assistant Danny showed up early and finished the work by the end of the day as promised. He really knows what he's doing! He's been working in his area for many years and his tool belt is probably older than me:) He used to work as the head of a big crew to build an entire house from scratch. I believe he has talent as carpentry. The project was top notch, flawless! Adam also has a full crew including plumber, HVAC, painter. I would definitely trust his guys on the other projects as well. Adam is a funny guy when I first met him but extremely serious about the work. He's working damn hard. My mom kept reminding him to have lunch first. But Adam keeps working without eating anything until he completed the work. Also, they cleaned my place after the work and left it like untouched:) Adam is smart to solve problem. There is a ceiling light that the new wall will have to pass through. It will be very expensive to hire an electrician to just simply move it. I met a guy who wants to charge me $500 for just moving the light when I was getting quote... But Adam found a smart way to leave the light untouched by building the wall just a little off the existing wall. It also turned out to look great! He completely understand my tight budget because we just moved in. And his quote is very reasonable and fair:) I've met about 20 companies before Adam for the same work (some from Home Advisor as well), some say this job would take 3-4 days to complete. They probably don't know what they are doing... And most of guys who came over are contractor and will subcontract the work to other people. So some quotes are way off... They dont do the work themselves. It's hard for me to trust them. But Adam is the real guy who does the real work. He's a funny guy. I like him. I made my decision by feeling, and so glad I made the right choice. So I highly recommend Adam and his team on any project they do. And personally I will recommend any my friends' project to him in the future:) I'm still waiting for him for another small project. See you guys soon!"

"Manny and his crew did our home's siding (removal and replacement), new gutters, overhang, front and side door trim and door, repaired our deck, built us wooden stairs and established a drainage pipe under our lawn to catch our gutter water and sump pump water, plus a few other odd jobs and we are happy with every single one of them! He gave our house a total facelift and listened to all of our concerns as well as gave advice for how to make things look better, without overcharging us. It was a fair price for work well done, the crew was courteous and hardworking, and they cleaned up after themselves. "My existing Stucco job of a large home was of high quality but one area had strange peeling. There is no one in this area who performs this trade. I went through Home Advisor and located Jean of CT Stucco in the New Haven area. He drove all the way out to Woodstock Valley, sized up the job, gave me a price and emailed me a quote a few days later. They returned when scheduled. because this home is on the side of a hill, they pipe-staged the entire back of the house, power washed and scraped away all the loose material and applied a new ground coat of cement. They applied the color and texture coat the next day. I had the old color chart from the original job and jean brought color samples and part numbers that match original job. They also repaired the window trims and decorative color bands that are a different color. consequently, they were working with three different colors at the same time with perfect cutting-in. Keep in mind, there could be a very slight difference in color shade due to exposure of the old and a possible change in the formulation of the new. I have been in and out of the construction business for many years and very familiar with this particular trade. it is fussy and precise work with no room for error or incompetence. Finding the "RIGHT" contractor in this trade is paramount, and they are few and far between. I highy reccomend Jean and CT Stucco Construction for quality masonry stucco work."
