He assisted us with coordination requirements between the insurance company and contractor, he ensured the work performed was done professionally, he always made himself available for questions, and he kept a positive and professional demeanor from the start of the project to the completion of the project. The siding and roof installation turned out great. We are planning to update our siding on the North side of the house next year and will insist to have Reggie manage that and all future roof/siding projects at our residence. "After researching many brands of shingles and numerous roofing contractors, we reached out to a few for bids on our roofing job. In our estimation, Coldstream Exteriors and our Project Manager, Brian McDonough, were far and away the most professional and informative of the four contractors that we considered. Brian took his time to explain our options, discuss the pros and cons of two featured shingle brands, and recommended a solution to my concern of inadequate intake ventilation in our attic with a hip roof with no soffit. Nobody else suggested that we consider edge vents to bring in more fresh air at the lower edge of the roof. I had a lot of questions about the materials, the venting and warranties and Brian responded to my numerous emails promptly. The installation crew arrived early in the morning and went to work right away. Brian was on site a number of times during the day to make sure that everything was proceeding well and was meeting my expectations. The crew worked efficiently and the entire roof, along with a very thorough clean-up, was completed by mid-afternoon. Although the bid from Coldstream Exteriors was not the least expensive that we received, it was very reasonable and we are quite pleased with the finished product. Our new shingles look great and we expect them to last for at least 30 years, which is longer than we expect to be in our home. We will likely be doing more exterior improvements next year and will certainly be looking to Coldstream Exteriors to replace our facia, siding and gutters. "I have nothing but good things to say about Window World. I saw their distintive Elvis commercial during one of the morning news programs and called them. I moved into my house in March 2012 and knew I had to get all the original windows replaced. They had the chain mechanism along the sides that let a winter breeze blow directly into the house.
A sales rep came to the house and explained their product and their process. He did not attempt to sell me the higher priced options, and even discouraged me from ordering a bow window. I wish all businesses had their order form. It clearly listed a price for each item and option, and the customer can figure out how much each scenario would cost. That makes it very easy to add or delete options to get to a price you're comfortable with.
The installers arrived right on time and set to work. They repeated the measurements before starting. They replaced ten windows very systematically. They taped plastic sheeting around each one so dust and dirt wouldn't get into the house, then removed and replaced one window at a time. The windows and trim were beautiful, and they cleaned up everything on the outside of the house. There really wasn't anything to clean up inside. I still get complements on the windows from visitors and my neighbors.
I have recommended the company to anyone interested in new windows. They also replace doors, and I will probably contact them about my front door. I can definitely tell a difference in my electric bill.
