The men removed and hauled away the old 80 gallon water heater. Then they attached the new tankless unit to the wall. They needed to run a new PVC vent out of the house which they did. We asked them to attach the unit to the inside wall, which caused an additional charge because the pipe had to run 25' across the basement ceiling. The men were professional, pleasant and very neat. They were very knowledgeable about their product and answered all our questions.

I needed to have them send out an electrician to show me how to get the energy produced by the panels to run through the fuse box and out to the grid so the panels would work at peak capacity again."

"In June of this year, I invited bids from 5 companies to replace my 20 year old Geo Thermal system at my Avon home. The Loop is in good shape and did not require replacement. I was rather sold on the great performance of my old Water Furnace brand system and most bidders quoted Water Furnace. Two also quoted less expensive, alternate branded units. Bassett's price quote was one of the lower submitted, not the lowest. Oh, and they also offered Angie's List discount. I chose them because of there smaller size, locally owned and operated, and generally good reputation. They also could provide the brand name I was seeking, Water Furnace. I had 20 years of good service from my Water Furnace and expect the same of the new replacement unit. Bassett was very professional submitting their quote. The installation began on the day they said they would and completed in one day. Following the installation, the old electronic air cleaner ceased to work. I honestly believe it was just coincidental, not of their doing. But, Bassett ordered parts and repaired it within a week. No request for "extra" payment, they just fixed it. I am really impressed with the integrity of this company. We can't say that about many other companies today. I highly recommend Bassett."
