"mMy boiler type furnace stopped heating the upstairs of my home.  I called Smith and Sons and was politely greeted.  I explained my issue and they scheduled a service call for Monday Morning between 830-9am.  Russ showed up at 845 and walked me thru my system and how everything worked.  He then showed me how to clear the vapor lock (air pocket).  When we were opening and shutting the valve's a water leak started.  Before Russ left all of the leaks had stopped.  15 minutes after Russ left the pressure relief valve started leaking again as well as another valve. I called Smith and Sons again and they had Russ call me.  He called a place about he parts and called me right back.  He was able to come back to my house that same day and install the pressure relief valve and make sure all of the other leaks had stopped.  This company did a great job and you can tell by the professionalism of their service man Russ that they truly care about customer service.  This companies info is now on my fridge.  I now have a HVAC company to call. "

The indoor heat unit was original to my condo, about 26 years ago. It was in an odd place in the garage. "In June of this year, I invited bids from 5 companies to replace my 20 year old Geo Thermal system at my Avon home. The Loop is in good shape and did not require replacement. I was rather sold on the great performance of my old Water Furnace brand system and most bidders quoted Water Furnace. Two also quoted less expensive, alternate branded units. Bassett's price quote was one of the lower submitted, not the lowest. Oh, and they also offered Angie's List discount. I chose them because of there smaller size, locally owned and operated, and generally good reputation. They also could provide the brand name I was seeking, Water Furnace. I had 20 years of good service from my Water Furnace and expect the same of the new replacement unit. Bassett was very professional submitting their quote. The installation began on the day they said they would and completed in one day. Following the installation, the old electronic air cleaner ceased to work. I honestly believe it was just coincidental, not of their doing. But, Bassett ordered parts and repaired it within a week. No request for "extra" payment, they just fixed it. I am really impressed with the integrity of this company. We can't say that about many other companies today. I highly recommend Bassett."
