"We used Pyramid to install quartz countertops in our kitchen, as well as a sink, faucet and garbage disposal (also used their subcontractor to install backsplash). This review is about the countertops and sink/faucet/disposal job-- we loved working with Bogi and the project came out beautifully. We didn't see the quartz we wanted in the Pyramid warehouse (although they had a great selection of granite and other stones), so Bogi suggested we look at MSI near Dulles. Bogi ordered the slabs we selected from MSI, coordinated the plumber to come when the counter top installers were ready for him, and even had them come back to clean up after the backsplash was installed by their subcontractor another day (he left some spilled grout on the countertop that we didn't notice until after he left.) The workers were clean, courteous and efficient."

"Wow, very professional, prompt, generous in giving information about the project. Had to have a vinyl tile floor stripped a few times then waxed. They also cleaned the new carpet on the stairs which contractors had used. We were ecstatic with the outcome on the old tile floor - it is gorgeous, they were hand scraping old wax off, the 60+ year old floor looks stunning. "I was initially supposed to get laminate in two bathrooms and a laundry room. The installer informed me that are not allowed to reconnect anything they disconnect so since I did not no know how or had anyone around to reconnected I decided not to do the laundry room. I believe the salesperson told me it would take 4 hours. I could be wrong. However they didnt arrive until after 1 pm and didnt finish until almost 10 pm. If they also had to do the laundry room they would have been here till after midnight. They certainly should not start a job so late in the afternoon if its going to take them that long to complete. Finally, I forgot to ask them to leave a little leftover tile just in case a piece got damaged somehow then it could be cut out and replaced. I spoke to my saleperson and he said they usually do leave a little. He checked with the powers that be and was told no they would not provide me with any extra title. I was only talking about a strip, not a whole room worth. I've used Empire twice before and went through that same issue before. I only use Empire because you can get the job done usually the next day, but they are not a whole lot of options to choose from."
