"Exceptional work all the way around! They have a unique skill that was handed down from their father and we received their name from a professional referral. They prepared the site (a vintage bathroom) by making the walls level and square before installing any stone. They made sure that everything was crafted as well as possible - to exceed our expectations and their own. They had our best interests at heart.
Our job included large slate tiles, small glass tiles and quartz slabs. 100% of the floor and walls are covered with stone and tile. Even a portion of the ceiling has tile. Every curve and corner was painstakingly executed and took extra time to get things right. The bathroom is a showplace. We are incredibly happy with their work. Excellent!

"Tonyâ s tile work on my fireplace was excellent. One of the tiles didnâ t fit, so he split two tiles and placed them side by side vertically in the top center. It created a nice design effect. He repeated the vertical cut in the center of the hearth. The fireplace looks bright and beautiful now. The man knows how to set tile with a lifetime of experience in the tile business fueling his ability. I highly recommend hiring him. He and his wife cleaned up afterwards. They split their time between living in Spain and the US. Kelly, his wife, is a very knowledgeable bilingual tour guide in Spain. We sat and talked for several hours mostly about traveling in Europe, Art and assisting her husband here in the US."

"Steve did an outstanding job on my bathroom! I am extremely happy with every aspect of the work he did. His attention to detail is excellent! For example, he installed marble-like tile in my bathroom and he made sure that the gray streaks in the tile lined up and flowed perfectly from tile to tile. "Sam and his team were professional, attentive and on-time. Their M.O. was definitely all about the satisfied customer. They were collaborative, and offered valuable suggestions (with reasoning) based on their experience. When the tile store sent the wrong tiles, Sam drove me to Floor & Decor to help me select another tile. Sam genuinely wanted to be sure I was happy with all three projects (kitchen backsplash, entryway and fireplace). Sam and Mark even worked on the weekend so we could meet my deadline, even though the project was delayed b/c of tile snafu. I highly recommend Sam and Glenview Tile. Wish I could give 6 stars."

"Removal of existing tile in our laundry room and replaced with new tile. They were a joy to work with. Came in and unhooked and moved washer and dryer to garage, removed very heavy 8ft door and removed old tile all in about 90 minutes. Next day installed new tile and grouted Did an excellent job with no mess and cleaned up everything. New tile looks great! Fast, friendly, reasonable and quality work Would recommend to anyone!"

"This is our third time having our French Limestone kitchen floor and granite countertops refinished but it is the first time we have used Natural Stone Restoration, Inc. to do the job. The quality of the work was outstanding and far exceeded that done by other companies. We also appreciated that Zuka elected to be on site supervising and that he was candid about the need to refinish varieties of floor tile we have in other rooms. Our home is on the National Historic Register and is also a Lake Forest Landmark. When we questioned Zuka about refinishing the original hand hewn slate tile in the foyer, he discouraged us from making the 1929 tiles look new saying the refinishing would detract from the original master craftsmanship and alter the patina of the floor. He obviously knows his craft and sacrificed a sale to preserve a legacy. I also like him. He is a consummate professional."

"I wish I could give this contractor 10 stars!!! From start to finish the experience was excellent. I contracted ZK Stone Restoration to re-grout, caulk and seal my stone tile floor in the main bathroom. In the process, he had to correct a very substandard job done by a previous worker. Z came on time and fully equipped with the tools of the trade. He was extremely polite and professional. He also explained again exactly how he would proceed with the project. The work area was kept neat and clean at all times. Z would pause on occasion to show me the progress of the work to be sure I was satisfied each step of the way. When he finished, he thoroughly cleaned the area and explained to me how to care for the floor in the future.
