"After getting a number of quotes for doing the tile in our bathroom, we decided to go with Jose and JC Tile, and now that the job is complete, I can say it was the right decision for us. Communication is very important to me, and Jose always responded in a timely manner via phone and text message throughout the entire process. "It worked out pretty well. There was only one little glitch and that was in the buying of the faucets and that turned out to be a little fiasco but other than that everything turned out well. I guess the price was alright, what happened is I had to have a lot more things done. Actually, I figured it was around 50 something feet. The end result was it cost me $4600.00. Originally, they said it was going to be around $1400.00 but with the sinks and they really kind of took me on the faucets. They were about double the price. The work was neat and whatever. The extras were more than I thought they would be. The one thing that was screwed up was my fault to a degree and their fault to a degree. What happened was I had the counters put in and then I said I wanted to put in a six inch backsplash. Now, what happened was in my 3 installations that were going to go in, there was a mirror that was going to go in. Really, what happened was they ripped it up and when they were going to put it in and the back splash they should not have made it a 6 inch, they should have made it after the rip out was how it was going to be because what happened is now I have a half inch on one side between the mirror and what I'm trying to fix with tile and 3/4 of an inch in another area. So, basically, it became a little bit of a nightmare for me but I'm straightening it out. I can do a lot of work myself but at the same token that's why I hired them. It would have made it a whole lot easier for me if when they took the top off if they would have measured to the mirror and then it would have wound up it would have been tight.
I would use them in the future but I would set different parameters."

The design and remodeling was a custom European style/modern while the bathroom included a walk in tile shower, jet shower system, home automation and more… part of the design was to reposition the door opening for a much better use of space. Cielo construction staff helped us by selecting all of the finish materials including the tiles, upper and lower cabinets, accessories and more… including the color/style of the paint. Mike included also in his work the remodeling of the guest bathroom, drywall, type of texture, baseboards etc. He has excellent, professional craftsmanship and creativity skills. "It was fantastic.  We worked with John, the owner, who was great in helping us select 2 different carpets for our home.  We were able to get an incredible remnant piece for our family room, and John let us take home the sample board to get the right color for our staircase.  We wound up buying a great new carpet, in a different color for the staircase.

Our stairs were not correctly set up for carpet, and they had a carpenter come in and finish out the underlying stairs first.  They are great -- no creaks or groans where we used to have some!  Very solid and very quiet.  Then Alden's correctly cut the carpet to size, had the ends finished (beaded?) like an area rug, and put the carpet on the stairs with padding.  It is fantastic."
