He caulked the window and shower area except for where the shower wall meets the tub. David stated that since I intended to have the tub refinished, caulking this are now would interfere with the refinishing and the refinisher would caulk this area as part of that job. Davie was able to locate the stud for the grab bar, which the prior company had not marked and I had trouble locating. This provided a much more secure installation than using the mounting hardware for hollow walls, which I originally thought we needed. He also installed the wall cabinet and toilet paper holder in the locations I wanted, locating the stud for a stronger installation. I emphasize finding the studs because I have plaster walls and the studs can be difficult to locate. Taking the time and trouble to locate them rather than using hollow wall anchors showed attention to detail and workmanship that is the difference between quality installation and merely doing the minimum to get done. He then sealed the floor tile last. It all looks good and functions well."
