"Very happy with how my windows turned out. I really struggled with picking the color for both windows and the wrap. Neil Masten at Barrier Windows was so patient with me. Thank you gentlemen for a job well done!"

"Jim with North Alabama Technical Services removed some items from my computer so that I could send emails and attend to items I needed to address that day. As planned, the next day he thoroughly cleaned my computer, he also made helpful suggestions while working on my computer. I would call him again if needed and I thought the fee was reasonable."

"From the start, Renewal has been wonderful to do business with. They care about their customers and routinely make follow up calls to ask if I need anything. Greatly appreciated Shane's time, help, and expertise. Very kind, professional, and takes time to explain the window features and installation process. He was right on time, efficient, respectful of the property, and I valued his work ethic with my project. I’m especially grateful, also, to Kyle for helping me navigate my way through the entire process as he was the first person I spoke to and had a meeting with. He was informative, very kind, helpful, and was willing to accommodate my work hours and stay late to answer my many questions. His knowledge and trustworthiness made me feel comfortable that I made the right decision not only with these windows but with the company as well. Can’t say enough good things about Renewal and their employees Shane and Kyle and would highly recommend anyone to ask for their services."

"They did an excellent job of repairing and painting the wood siding on our house several years ago. Last year some repairs were required to a side door and a window suround. They came out repaired the damage and repainted as needed without any questions. This year I noticed some exposed wood on a dormer, on a overhang, and some rotting wood under a window. Paul, the owner, came out and inspected the areas and the rest of the house and without any hasel sent out a man that repaired the areas of concern the following week."

"The people they sent out came out, they came out , I think about 4 or 5 different times. I talked with the technicians and said, "this is ridiculous, the furnace is old" and he said, "we agree, but they only want to do the patching". They would patch it and it would break, they would patch it, and it would break. Finally, I said, "I want a new furnace. What do we have to do to do a new furnace. You've been out here, this is like the 6th time," and he said, "I'll have my manager write something up", and so they did and they replaced the furnace. They tried. They were more interested in patching things than replacing things. They were willing to send out 4 or 5 different parts. The things that I see that would help the most is if it were easier to get a hold of them on the phone or if their website worked. Just being able to contact someone in person. Sometimes, you can't explain everything online. We were able to get a hold of them, we were able to talk to them. It just takes some time, they had to jump through the hoops with their company, we understood that, but they came through and got us a new furnace. A nice new furnace too."

"It was a small job. They sealed the vents to the crawlspace, then, since there was already solid insulation panels on the walls, put a vapor/moisture barrier, in the form of a tarp, 4 feet wide and as long needed, completely around the crawlspace. It was then sealed to the walls with "nails" and adhesive. This seals the wood frame of the house from the 'Outside", the ground, which is the floor of the crawlspace. A 20 mil thick, quite heavy, "floor" was installed, also in the form of a tarp, It went up the walls about 3 feet and was taped to the 'tarp" on the walls, using a tape made for this application. The piers were wrapped with the same stuff and taped to seal the inside from the outside. the "floor" is also a vapor/moisture barrier, but, heavy enough to walk on if needed. This basically makes the crawlspace another room, rather than the outside. Our house is one year old and was already getting mold on the floor joists. Since the air in the crawlspace will now be heated in the winter and cooled in the summer, just like the rest of the house, the mold and cold (52 degrees) floors we experienced last winter will hopefully be eliminated. We shall see when dumb winter gets here."
