"I recently hired GEM Electric and Solar LLC to install a 220 line for my Tesla charger and another 220 line for my hot tub. I couldn't be more satisfied with the service they provided. The team was incredibly professional, arrived on time, and completed the job with great attention to detail. The installation was done flawlessly, and everything works perfectly. I highly recommend GEM Electric and Solar LLC for anyone in need of electrical work. They exceeded my expectations, and I'll definitely be using their services again in the future."

Small jobs welcome
"You can stop searching for an electrician - hire Brey Electric. You couldn?t ask for a more professional contractor. He installed a GFCI outlet in the bathroom and had to go through a very tight attic space. He recommended the attic route because it would be less expensive than running a wire up from the basement. He explained clearly what the job would entail, finished the job ahead of schedule, vacuumed the floor when the job was completed, and went a step further to offer to provide a custom extension cord if the toilet seat cord isn?t long enough. Conner takes customer service seriously and works with the electrical contractors association to stay current with industry practices. He?s relaxed and very easy to work with. I won?t hesitate to refer Brey Electric to my friends and call on Connor for future jobs."

"I had the electrical panel swapped and wire ran from the new panel box to my garage. He came in under what he quoted. Great service, great value and an overall good guy. If I could give more than 5 stars I would."

"I had a short circuit that was found and corrected in 15 minutes, so I had him install some new fixtures, even replacing an outdoor light. Great work and reasonable price!"

In some states and municipalities, licensed and registered handypersons can change a light fixture and do minor electrical work. However, you should check with your state and local licensing boards before hiring a local handyperson. In most cases, it’s safer and more practical to hire an electrician for this job. It may cost more, but hiring a licensed electrician means they’ll get the work done to code.
Special light fixtures, known as damp-rated light fixtures, are recommended in bathrooms, particularly if they're near damp areas like showers and over the bathtub. However, in most locations, they’re not a strict requirement. For safety and longevity, damp-rated fixtures are a better choice. If you work with a lighting contractor in your area, they may be able to recommend the right kinds of fixtures for your space.
Yes, it’s possible to run a second light fixture to a switch, meaning the light switch would control more than one light fixture. Several factors can impact whether it’s possible and how much it will cost. In many cases, it may be easier and more affordable for the contractor to install independent light switches. Talk to your electrician about your idea to get their feedback.
