"I had a few switches & outlets that didn’t work and I had been meaning to take care of them for a while. Brian reached out promptly, provided excellent customer service, and completed the job on the same day. I would definitely recommend him for your next project."

"We have used Justin for a number of our indoor and outdoor wiring and electrical projects over the years.
His work is great, he is reliable and stands behind his work. Any follow up and return visits are not a problem.
Last year we were working on a big project in the backyard, building an outdoor kitchen, patio and entertainment area. We did not exactly know what we wanted to do from an electrical and lighting perspective. We met with Justin and went over the plans. He had some suggestions and ideas as well as recommendations and reliable knowledge of the code. With his help we put together a plan. Justin came several times to do the installation in stages as our construction project progressed.
We are very happy with the outcome.

"Evans Electric was very responsive, which is becoming rare for most service providers. We had a 61 yo fuse panel that was a fire hazard and was replaced with a circuit breaker panel. Matt was quick to provide a quote and scheduled the service for the same week. He came on time and finished the job much quicker than we expected. Definitely five star service."

I chose to work in this industry because I was always interested in electrical, and was offered to enroll in an apprenticeship program with my first electric company in Nashville, TN. It was mostly a commercial company. There I gained lots of valuable knowledge. After graduating from the 4 year trade school I became a foreman. Then moved back to Dallas TX to work for a residential service company. I also enjoyed this aspect of electrical. There is more troubleshooting involved. The owner of this company taught me a lot and we still keep in touch. Then I moved to North Carolina to pursue my own business. I can do most commercial and residential projects. I look forward to hearing from you.

"I called Mr. Electric after picking up an electrical smell in the kitchen recently. To highlight our situation, a fire truck showed up years ago after somebody left chandelier lights turned on too long, causing a fire in our house. Looking for answers concerning that electric smell, I found the company on Angie, and called for a review and quote. A text message response arrived only a few minutes later. The first meeting was set up, and Bailey arrived as scheduled. He reviewed everything and put a quote together. The offered price was admittedly on the higher side, but our home is 40 years old and it had a lot of electrical issues to resolve, some other them potentially dangerous ones as mentioned here, so I considered the quote to be reasonable. The company didn't disappoint. Everybody involved did a fantastic job. Kudos to Bailey, Justin, Ronnie, Luna, Quan, and maybe others I missed."

"I'm a repeat customer of Evans Electric. Matt and team did all the electrical work 4 years ago when we finished our basement. Fast forward to Nov. 2023, Matt and team did some electrical work for our kitchen reno, plus recessed lights/switches for bathrooms and office. Matt initially came for consultation and estimate (came by on time), provided various options as though it was his house. I always appreciate different perspectives and the conversation that is "if I were you, I would..." or "have you thought about..." This week, Matt and Tim came for the work, and can't say enough about how great the work is, their professionalism, and attention to detail. Looks great! Great communicator, I knew what they were going to do, what was expected. Matt, Tim, thank you for your work! Will definitely use Evans Electric again, and refer my friends to them as well."

Always start by confirming the pro’s license number, insurance coverage, and experience level. Visit the electrician’s website, scan recent customer reviews, and verify credentials with your local labor department. Request proof of liability insurance and at least two references that you can contact. These quick checks take only a few minutes but go a long way toward ensuring safe, code-compliant work and protecting your home in the event of an issue.
Grouping several electrical jobs into one appointment means you pay a single service-call fee and one set of travel expenses. Instead of asking a pro to return three separate times for outlets, switches, and fixtures, have everything tackled in one visit. The electrician stays productive, and you avoid extra trip charges, often shaving a sizable chunk off the final bill without compromising quality.
DIY electrical work can be dangerous and, in many areas, illegal without a license. One miswired connection risks shocks, fires, or expensive damage. Licensed electricians carry the right tools, follow local code, and know how to shut down power safely before they start. Hiring a pro may cost more upfront, but it protects your home, family, and insurance coverage in the long run.
