He also supplied electrical from my box upstairs [through the wall], and under hardwood flooring to supply my microwave, which was built into Kitchen island. I chose to work in this industry because I was always interested in electrical, and was offered to enroll in an apprenticeship program with my first electric company in Nashville, TN. It was mostly a commercial company. There I gained lots of valuable knowledge. After graduating from the 4 year trade school I became a foreman. Then moved back to Dallas TX to work for a residential service company. I also enjoyed this aspect of electrical. There is more troubleshooting involved. The owner of this company taught me a lot and we still keep in touch. Then I moved to North Carolina to pursue my own business. I can do most commercial and residential projects.
