"We recently bought our house and decided to do a complete kitchen remodel, which required moving a lot of the electrical outlets and lighting fixtures. I decided to be my own general contractor for the project and I contacted Front Range Electric on multiple occasions and they were always willing to schedule me within 1 or 2 days, so I could keep the project moving forward. The Front Range employees were always very responsive and did a great job, so I was referring them to my friends. We had all the updates completed, cabinets installed, countertops installed and were getting appliances installed, when the installer requested that we move the electrical in the island from the back to the side of the opening for the cooktop and downdraft. I contacted Front Range and they could not come out the same day, but would work me in the following day. The appliance installers also identified additional ventilation needs that required an HVAC appointment and some additional trimming of the countertop. I scheduled all three appointments for the following day and HVAC came early in the morning and started his work in the island. That afternoon the countertop installers came to make a quick 1/4" cut in the island opening, which would take only 10 minutes. At about that same time two employees came from Front Range, complained that someone else as there working in the island and that I was going to have to reschedule. I informed them that the island would be available in 10 minutes or less and then I was informed that since there were two employees and they were now both going to be on overtime, moving the two outlets from the back to the side would cost me $500 for about an hours work.
