"While it is normal for remodeling projects to create chaos and to be the muse of many a horror story, this ended up with a very pleasant end result. We had a complete renovation down to the studs to bring things up to code, which included ripping out the sub flooring and quite a bit of pipes. Parts were ordered and lost and found. Things went on backorder and were discontinued. We fortunately had a fantastic crew. Ismar (the contractor) did an awesome job of making sure that everything was done to spec and built beautifully. He followed our wishes and came back on the weekend and late to be sure the work was done right. The only real challenges were with the design and oversight from the office, between the designer losing our design specs on the first pass and not communicating proactively about delays or back orders, but thankfully these were more annoyance than problem. After a few handoffs, we got Eric E. as project manager, and he saw us through the rest of the project with much better results and only about 30% oversight still needed from us. Overall, we got a great bathroom out of the deal, so 4 stars."

"Steve is great! When my son noticed no hot water at 5:30p, I called Monster Plumbing. Steve said he'd get back into his work clothes and be right over. And he was! Very personable and knowledgeable. I first met him when he worked for Len's plumbing. He stayed in my mind because even then, he went above and beyond by offering to install my handheld bidet after fixing my broken pipe from my clumsy attempt to install it myself. No extra cost. Now as a sole proprietor, his fees are less than big companies. Very nice man! Obviously experienced in his field. I wouldn't call anyone else!"

"We needed to have our 40-year-old bathtub converted into a walk-in shower for my elderly mother and have the bathroom flooring replaced. After an exhaustive search of potential companies, I came across Mako Shower & Bath. Shawn visited us for a consultation and gave us an opportunity to explore the different design options. He was very thorough and provided all of the information we needed about how it would be installed. For accessibility, we decided to have a folding seat and two grab bars installed in the shower. Once all of the parts were delivered to Mako, the install itself took less than a day. The installers, Kevin and Riley, did a fantastic job and we are extremely pleased with the new shower and flooring. It not only looks amazing, it addresses all of the safety and accessibility issues we had with the old bathtub and floor."
