"The office staff were very professional and the plumber showed up on time and called us 45 minutes before they arrived.
We explained that there might be a leak under the dishwasher; however we were not sure. The plumber never looked under the dishwasher. The plumber replaced some pipes under the sink that did not have a leak; However the pipes did need replacing but were not part of the problem we reported. The pipes replaced could not have cost more than 50 dollars.

The plumber did quote us 800 dollars for work that we assumed would fix the problem; however he spent 2 hours replacing the pipes that were not part of the problem. Its unclear to us if he fixed another leak that I am not aware of; however since the problem still exists; I am not sure if he really fixed any leak. The plumber did note that there may be a bigger problem somewhere else in the pipeline.

My personal opinion is two hours of work and less than 50 dollar of supplies should not equate to 800 dollars in service. What the service should have done is charge us a estimate fee to fix the problem we called about and not the pipes that were old and loose (but were not part of the problem). The plumber lead on to believe the problem would be solved after his work was completed. Its not.

"Early on a Saturday morning, I discovered that my old (18.5 years) electric water heater was leaking. When I researched online, I discovered that most plumbing companies only work on M-F, not weekends. Luckily, I connected with Arturo, owner of AMC Plumbing. I texted him a few pictures of my old water heater so he could have visual of what the setup is in my condo. He gave me an estimate over the phone and said he could come that same day to install a new water heater. He was quick, efficient, and thorough. He assured me all was done to current code. His price was in the same range as the only other plumbing company that would give me an estimate over the phone (but couldnâ t do the work till later in the week).
