There was a back bathroom that needed to be renovated, interior of house was repainted except ceilings, many electrical repairs were done, water damage in garage was repaired and several plumbing repairs performed. He also replaced and painted 9 interior doors and installed 2 closet doors.
I thought George's bid was somewhat high but I was in a bind so I went with him as he could start right away. George got started on time. As George got into the job he uncovered more and more problems. I was happy that George wanted to "do things right" but I was also clear that that the budget was $7000. I know George did his best to keep the cost down but he quickly went $1000 over budget which was too much in my opinion. 
George was really good about showing up on time. He was good at keeping me in the loop about what was going on. George also
took care of all the other contractors (plumbers and electricians) which helped me a lot.
George ended up doing a lot more work than we had discussed but it ended up costing me a lot more than I had budgeted.
I was happy with the work that George did. He did a nice job on all the repairs. He was very professional, did a good job at cleaning up and finished the job on time. The house rented in 2 days.

"If you ever need a foundation company this is bar none the absolute best. I met with all the local foundation companies with the best reputations - RamJack, Baird, GL Hunt and Olshan. The system FSS uses is not the least expensive, but by far the best. All components are galvanized to include the piping. The competitor's equipment could not even compare with FSS. Just as important, the crew who did the work on my home were absolute professionals in their trade. Andrew, Ricky and Gabe were the best. All of them have years of experience and the foreman, Andrew, has almost two decades of knowledge and hands-on experience, and knowing this eased any concernes I had. Once the fifteen piers were all in place, all piers were connected together via hydraulic hoses and pump. Only then was the house lifted simultaneously - both left and right sides.
