"I needed a plumber right away , so i went through Home Advisor and right away Brian from Lamore called me said he was in the area, so in 10 minutes Brian was here estimating the cost of a water heater, he gave me a price but I couldnâ t get it done because of funds so I told him can you come the 24th and do the job he said sure and we hung up. 2 minutes later he calls me and says youâ re a military Vet , I said yes I am , do you have hot water , I said no Sir we will have to wait till the 24th, he says , no you wonâ t Iâ ll come and install the water heater and you pay me on the 24th, I was shocked and humbled of the fact their is still good wholesome people in this world. Iâ d recommend Brian and Lamore plumbing 1000% of 1000% times. Donâ t look anywhere else try Brian and his team to do your plumbing."

"I had what turned out to be a clogged pipe going from the house to our septic tank at midnight. I hired another plumbing contractor to come and fix it overnight, as Rooter-Man's 24x7 operator didn't pass on the message. The first contractor started to drain the water from the entire system via a trickle into a 5 gallon bucket at $255/hour. After 2 hours, I sent him home and continued to drain the system for another 3-4 hours on my own, with the expectation that he would return in the morning to continue. I received a call early in the morning from Chris at Rooter-Man. I asked him about the approach that the first contractor had taken, and he suggested that draining the system wasn't necessary. He indicated that the proper approach under the circumstances was to first open the septic tank, to insure that the levels were proper, to prohibit backflow into the home, and pump it out if necessary (it was not). Once open, cleaning the drain by snaking from the outside, through the septic tank, would provide the solution without draining the system. After careful consideration, I called the first contractor back and asked him not to come, and called back Chris and had him complete the job. He was very conscientious, calling when he was on his way, to insure that I was expecting him. I walked him through everything and he was able to complete the job in roughly 1 hour, including cleaning up for the first contractor. He was courteous and friendly, clearly had a command of the issue and executed like an experienced professional. His price was less than what I had prepared for. The fact that I was unable to contact him overnight is my only criticism, and why my overall rating is 4.5, rather than 5. When I asked him this, he resolved to find and correct the issue with the answering service operator. He also indicated that when deciding who to contract with, for a problem such as mine, to try to use a "drain professional", rather than a plumber, as the approach taken may vary (as I found out). FWIW, I initially called Roto-Rooter, who offers 24x7 service, and they also did not call me back until the next morning, despite promises to the contrary. I would recommend Chris & Rooter-Man without any reservations."

"Workmen were excellent. They asked for direction when appropriate, but otherwise worked independently as a well coordinated team. Finished shower and plumbing is great. No issues whatsoever."

"I was very pleased with Luxury Bath in Pembroke. Amazing customer service, fast and accurate and in one day as advertised. They were clean, skilled, punctual, and kept me informed of dates and everything else. Also they were cheaper than other companies. Since they specialize in this, they know how to do the plumbing, carpentry, and tile work, so there is no waste of time finding all the different contractors. Super pleased with the finished product and the company! Jennifer Bylo is great too, and personally was involved to make sure everything went smoothly! Five stars without hesitation! Thank you!"

Schedule a plumbing inspection every one to two years to ensure your system is in good working order. Regular inspections can help you catch minor issues before they become costly problems, like major water damage repairs. You should also consider a plumbing inspection when buying or selling a home or if you notice signs of a plumbing issue. Staying proactive with maintenance can save you money and stress in the long run.
A plumbing inspection for a standard one-story to two-story home takes between two and three hours. For larger residences, historic homes, or rental complexes, a complete inspection requires a full-day commitment of eight hours. However, this does not account for any necessary repairs that your plumber might find, so it’s best to set aside additional time during the inspection in case an unexpected repair comes up.
When built with quality materials, your plumbing system endures for decades. CPVC, brass, iron, and steel provide reliable service for 50 to 70 years, while copper extends durability up to 100 years, and PEX maintains performance for 80 to 100 years. Maintaining this system with regular inspections and prompt repairs guarantees long-term efficiency.
You should repipe your home when your plumbing exceeds its expected lifespan or uses hazardous materials like lead, polybutylene, or galvanized steel. Persistent leaks, corrosion, and compromised water quality signal that your existing piping no longer meets safety standards. Repiping eliminates potential health risks and prevents extensive water damage.
