"I couldn't be happier with Walter Brown. They gave a thorough inspection of the roof by walking it, clearly showing me the issues, and explaining any potential problems that could arrive. When we met to discuss the estimate, I was very appreciative that in addition to the estimate, they gave me a worst case scenario cost. For me, that kind of honesty made choosing Walter Brown a no-brainer. On the day of the job, a full crew of over 10 people came and worked hard getting the roof complete. They worked as a team and finished the roof in a day. Also, they answered all questions and did a thorough job cleaning up. A few hours after completing the roof, the ridge vent didn't look even to me, so when the site manager returned to pick up the dumpster, I asked him about it. He didn't like the look of either, called a few guys back, and replaced it at that time. Again, I was impressed that he was willing to re-do the ridge vent and that he re-did it at that time. We've had a few storms since the roof was installed, and no leaks now! This was as perfect as a home improvement project could have been. "I'll start this review by saying that to me, the "end result" is what counts most.  And Neale and his company produced exactly the custom look security fence I had envisioned.  This was a bit of an unusual request, because even though many people have iron bars welded over their A/C units for security, I needed two large, expensive (side by side) heat pumps protected.  Also, I felt a "security fence" would look better than just metal bars.  So here was my experience: After 1st calling and getting leaving a message with an assistant, it did take a few days but Neale called me back to set up an appointment to give an estimate.  He arrived right on time, took a look at the situation, and after a few minutes of brainstorming we were on exactly the same page in terms of design - and I liked how he sketched it out.  I also felt his quote was very reasonable (his was the 3rd estimate I had gotten).  And I don't know, there was just something about Neale, I could tell he had a *passion* for security fencing and "keeping crooks out" so to speak.  After getting my estimate in writing via email later that day, I put down my (1/3) deposit.  About a week later, after fabricating much of the fence in his shop, Neale and his team arrived and got to work fast.  I took them 2 days total, which was fine (day #1 they installed the fence posts and the concrete needed to set overnight).  Day# was most of the assembly,  welding and the paint job. Now, about 2 weeks later, I am extremely happy with the final result.  Very secure, and very sharp looking!  Even the gloss black paint job is very nice.  My neighbors have made several admiring comments over the past week also.  The only thing I could fault, if anything, would be if speed - is critical too you.Baltimore Wrought does seem like a busy company so don't be surprised if there is a week or so delay / backlog.  Also, they do prefer cash payment vs credit card.  (I did my deposit on credit card and paid the final 2/3 cash).  But  these minimal factors were not a big deal for me, because *high quality* work and to a lesser extent, total price, were all I really cared about - and these guys definitely delivered on both!
